Literally life savers. Turned up with blood sugar so low I could barely talk. They looked after me, fed and watered me and sent me on my way. Cheers!
Great value in a handy location on the way into Birmingham after leaving the M42. There is plenty of room for my HGV. A friendly local down to earth owner.
Been dropping in and out of here for years... Nice enough staff, food is well cooked and the serving/cooking area is very clean. Parking is not a drama as the layby is very long, just be careful merging back out as it's a very fast moving road.

Pity could not give zero stars Bacon egg sandwich well Bread from last week dry as sand paper egg was black dirty grease and bacon did not bother looking so went without GIVE THIS PLACE A SWERVE
Stopped for a ☕ but like to observe the service..Great looking sandwiches and Dave looks quiet but happy to talk with all customers..6ft in height and almost equivalent is the burgers and his kindness..dont forget guys Dave has been serving the layby 30 years.
Not my first visit here but I wasn't as impressed as I had been on previous occasions. The burger and cheese were OK, the bacon was a little fatty making it slightly difficult to eat as it all wanted to come out of the sandwich in the first bite. Also it was a sandwich and not a roll as the vendor had run out and I didn't want to make him go into his van during a hail storm lol. The biggest let down though was the very limited choice of sauces, red or brown...
