We ordered 1) briyani meat - the rice are broken rice and not the usual long grain briyani rice, the meat are little compared to the other indian restaurant, flavour is ok not too salty and just good. 2) chicken chat - less meat and full with sauces. Good taste though - sweet. Price is on the high side compared to others in the surrounding area

Really lovely restaurant. Friendly staff, warm welcome and excellent service. Particularly welcoming to the children. We had no reservation on a Thursday at 6pm but we were seated quickly with prompt service and delicious food. Clean, well cared for restaurant. Would return again if in the area (we were visiting the area for half term). Recommended!

We were visiting last week from the north East and called into Himalaya for a meal. We were met and shown to our seats in a bright and airy restaurant. There were three members of staff and who were all very friendly and attentive. The lady that took our orders was happy to help us with our decisions and when our food arrived it was perfect portions and all very tasty. If we were back in the area we would definitely visit again. Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit, and we will definitely coming back. The restaurant itself, is superb, clean, with a lovely easy and atmospheric feeling. All the staff were polite, very happy and good to chat with. We never felt rushed, just left to enjoy our food and time. The food, I've got to say hand on heart one of, if not the best flavored Indian food we've had and enjoyed. From the starters and the main. Truly good food.

First time spur of the moment visit tonight for the wife & me - 13/01/23 - & I’m glad we did! The food was hot, fresh & very tasty. Reasonably priced too. Good to see a few familiar faces. All staff friendly & polite - already looking forward to going again.

Good local curry house. Service was friendly and relatively quick considering how busy the evening was. Took my 2 lads, which was there first visit to a curry house. Food was tasty, good portions and reasonably priced. Couple of draught beers Cobra and Carling. The cobra was very good.

Staying nearby in the Premier inn. We walked here for our evening meal. These guys certainly know what they’re doing, and how to treat their customers. We were given a warm welcome by the lovely lady, and shown to our table. Within a short time we ordered our drinks, followed by placing our food order. “Harry Potter” their chef, is a wizard with them spices cos he certainly puts out a super curry. Had curries for years and I think that this one’s up there as one of the best - if not the best. Drinks, pops, starter, main course for two - £45.00. Bargain!! If in the area again, would deffo call in for their hospitality and food. Look them up, you won’t be disappointed.
