Our server was brilliant. Despite it being a busy day, Claire handled it all with class and professionalism. My family and I were very pleased to have her serve us. Gracie was amazing! We were served by Gracie and she honestly made the whole visit so much better. She was friendly, welcoming, and really looked after us from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and she had a great attitude the whole time. It’s rare to see someone put that much care and effort into their job, but Gracie really stood out. We had a lovely family lunch as an early birthday celebration for my husband. Ages ranged from 5 to (almost) 70. We all left well fed and very happy. Great service - friendly and efficient staff without being intrusive. And a special shout out to our waitress, Amanda: she made us feel special. Thank you.
Went on a Sunday - booked for 4pm. It was very very busy but the staff coped well with getting us seated and us getting served (though there was quite a queue when we went up). Food was lovely ... both had the carvery - I had 3 meats and my son had 2 meats. His only complaint was that they didn't have lamb as that's his favourite. Didn't have desert as we was both full. Would definitely go here gain but would maybe try to go when it's less busy.
What a lovely place with a nice atmosphere. You can't beat a good carvery. We don't eat meat, but had the most amazing steamed Salmon and the chocolate brownie with cream not only looked pretty but tasted divine. The food is really reasonably priced. Definitely recommend here
