   What I love about this place, they always try their absolute best and work so hard! I’ve been ordering from here for a very long time, whenever I am craving a Chinese, this is where I go too. They are friendly and the food is delicious, I have had no issues whatsoever, they always try to be accommodating too which I love and always aim to make sure your food is with you within a timely manner. Such a great place! :) Thank you Orchid x

   Quite nice however we ordered kung pao chicken and got a spicy basically chicken sweet and sour. Phoned to ask if they gave us the wrong dish and they explained they make it like that which is ok. However not at all how google and other websites describe kung pao chicken so a description of how they make it would be really helpful on the menu as we were expecting peanut flavour and were quite disappointed there was no peanut flavour and didn't resemble the dish

   Ordered for the 1st time tonight 13/10/25 as was told food was nice. My experience not the best as fried rice was burnt and greasy and fried soft noodles was like rubber very chewy and also very greasy not a good 1st time meal ...will be staying with my regular. Thanks but no thanks.

   Our go to Chinese takeaway. Tried a few different places over the years but Orchid is the best. Food is great, arrives in quick time and never had an item missed from the order. They are always accomadating with every order we’ve placed and never had any issues! Very friendly and professional.

   I am pescetarian and for personal reasons haven't eaten meat for over 20 years. Orchid has been my favourite takeaway for a few years now. Mostly opting for the crabmeat and sweetcorn soup as a starter. However this evening I was horrified when I realised I was eating my usual soup with the addition of a large amount of chicken pieces! I rang the restaurant and was told the manager would ring me back. This didn't happen but they did deliver another soup minus the chicken! Ok so no one was ill, the food wasn't detrimental to my health, but I've now lost some faith in what I'll be eating from here.

   we ordered and waited 45 minutes for it to come. Over the phone we asked if we could pay by card with a card machine and they said yes. it turns up and the driver was asking for cash, he said he couldn’t take card. he then phoned up the shop and she wanted to take our card details which we politely said no to and said we would walk to the cash machine which was 100metres up the road. the driver refused to wait told us he didn’t have time and drove off with our food. meaning we ended up waiting an hour for food that we were never given.

   I used really like the food here, but the last few times have been awful. The delivery took forever, the sweet & sour chicken was soggy, the food quality has generally gone down hill. But to wait an hour and a half is just silly.

   Ordered for the first time at the weekend, we had a curry missing so they refunded us the money. Ordered a curry tonight for the wife’s birthday, but they decided to cancel the order, without any notification and I only found out when I called up over an hour later to see where my order was. I wouldn’t use this place again and won’t recommend it to anyone!
