It was my second visit although I was not very impressed during the first visit. I decided to give it a second chance. This time I was not disappointed. Because I was there before 12:30pm the lady serving was probably less tired and hence more friendly and empathetic. I ordered Chole Bhature. Quantity and quality was good. Could have slightly less oil in the chole but it was ok. The chutney was tasty as well. The onion seems to be cut from overnight as they were not fresh. However when the Bhature and Chole are good one can ignore such side things. Β£9 seems to be slightly expensive to me. Unfortunately they don’t take card although I saw there were 3card machines but I didn’t bother to ask because fortunately I had cash today. The inside vibe was very dull. They should do something for that. Parking in that area could be tricky most of the times.

They do Punjabi dishes the best and I would suggest to stick to it and not venture into other North Indian dishes like Paneer or Gobi Manchurian. Their Amritsari kulcha is a must try. The Chole, Pickled Onion and the red chutney was out of this world Authentic Punjabi to the core. The Amritsar Kulcha is the best I ever had in my life with a dollop of butter and bread baked to perfection. I am not a fan of deep fried Bature but that was popular and I saw some tables ordering it. I had Tea to finish off which was too milky according to me and I didn’t try the lassi as I visited this place after having a meal in the temple near by and skipped it. The Amritsari kulcha taste is still lingering in my tongue. They had a very light stuffing in it. Must visit if you are in Birmingham and make sure you stick to authentic Punjabi cuisine in my opinion they do the best.

Amritsari Kulcha and Chole Bhature didn’t live up to the expectations . Indo Chinese was really good hence 2 stars. They are cash only plan accordingly

Had been here twice and food is close to authentic taste. Kulcha comes piping hot from tandoor and tastes very good. Served with Chole, tomato Chutney, pickle and onions. We also tried the Samosa chat which was good but not best and also Papdi chat. Dani was sweet and taste with chutney could have been better. Chilli paneer was salty and wasn’t that authentic and had food coloring. Overall it’s good place to get some close to authentic taste with given price.

Good authentic Punjabi cuisine, limited items on the menu. But the quality of food is top notch. We had papdi chaat and Amritsari kulcha -both were really good and in decent quantity. Will recommend to try this place out for good authentic Punjabi food. Cash only and roadside parking available.

We visited today. We were lucky as there was no rush due to weekday. Parked off road easily. Clean restaurant and welcoming, smiling staff. This is one of the very few restaurant where without asking you get water on table . We ordered amritasari Kulcha, chole bhature ,veg Manchurian, sweet and mango lassi . The best veg Manchurian I had in birmingham. Kulcha and bhature were absolutely well made, fresh and delicious. Chole were tasty but nothing exclusive. Again only restaurant serving onion and lemon along with food. Mango lassi was very good and better than sweet lassi. Strongly recommended.

Food I thought was tasty (others found a little spicy). Atmosphere is of basic/traditional daba style. (Toilets need improvement). They said cash only (but did see someone else pay by card!).

Amazing food and authentic taste! Staff is friendly and service is quick. The price are reasonable. Don’t forget to carry cash. Parking can be tricky but there is parking available across the road. Overall experience was good and will definitely visit again.

Let me tell you first that it is **CASH ONLY**. The dhaba has been decorated in a traditional Punjabi roadside dhaba way which is lovely. The lovely is freshly prepared, good and tasty. Not too expensive. Right for the price. Ambience is good. Neat and clean. NO PARKING/ROADSIDE PARKING ONLY. I was taken aback then the lady said we don't accept cards, luckily I had enough cash. Only one suggestion, THINK BIG and START ACCEPTING CARDS. You will get more business.

One of the best Indian restaurant, with pure Indian touch. The food was delicious and fresh. The biryani was really good, must try! Amritsari kulcha and chole were just perfectly delicious. Amazing quality at reasonable price. If you're craving for authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place. Would highly recommend it❀️
