   This is an absolute local gem! The food was absolutely delicious and so different to what is available in the local Italian restaurants. It felt very authentic. Portion sizes were also great, with most of our party struggling to finish our meals. The atmosphere was also delightful and it is clear that a lot of effort has been put into the interior, making you feel like you're outside even when you're not. There are plenty of gluten free options too, including garlic bread which is of course a treat for anyone on a gluten free diet. Could not recommend the Secret Sicilian enough and will definitely be back!

   I have been to The Proud Sicilian a couple of times now and will definitely continue to return. I had the aubergine parmigiana both times, as it was so good that I couldn't possibly have anything else! My husband enjoyed his pizza and we split sautéed potatoes and zucchini fritters, the latter of which were particularly delicious. The restaurant's decor is particularly charming and while the service is a little slow, the staff are very friendly. They serve some lovely mocktails and an incredibly generous portion of tiramisu! Would definitely recommend.

   I loved my dining experience and will definitely be visiting again. From the decor to the amazing wait service and the music. This place is a whole vibe. I couldn't stop dancing in my seat! And to top things off , the food was spectacular. 10/10 would recommend.

   Went for hot drinks and ice cream. Lovely drinks, beautiful ice cream- so smooth. We were seated outside. Only knocked a star as there was a delay while we were seated to have our order taken so we had to go inside to ask for service. Would absolutely return. Overall, very good service.

   Absolutely outstanding! Went for dinner with my friend last night and the food was beyond amazing. We were rolling home. Courgette fritti like I’ve never had before. Everything was so fresh and flavoursome. Love the Italian decorations and the staff were lovely too. The limoncello is a must have also!

   It looked very nice from the outside, & what a lovely surprise as you walk through the door. Was taken here for mothers day. The staff were welcoming & smiling & we were seated quickly. The service was good, the food was lovely. I had the sea bass it was cooked absolutely beautifully. Will definitely return.

   Had the pleasure of dining here for my partners birthday. Absolute treat. Our meal was flavoursome and authentic The restaurant itself was fresh, clean and reminiscent of summers in Italy. We were well looked after by the friendly staff, and the host Barbara was attentive and very welcoming. A jewel on the high street, it is a must for anyone out for great food in an ambient setting. Homemade limoncello was served on the house which was the perfect end to a wonderful experience. Thank you all at The Proud Sicilian for your hospitality. Xxx

   The food was amazing, the staff where so polite and friendly, brilliant service. Restrictions at the time meant that we had to sit outside however the set up was fine more than comfortable. The restaurant itself is beautiful
