It was our first time trying Lithuanian food and we will be back! It is such a lovely restaurant with impeccable service. The fried rye bread is amazing. They serve their own homemade Kvass as well!
I loved the food, atmosphere and services but mostly the cold Borscht soup. Will be back soon
Never had Lithuanian food before. Will absolutely be having it again though! Everything was absolutely delicious, well cooked and reasonably priced. The side vegetables were especially flavourful, the pickled cabbage was flavoured with dill which turns out is a fantastic combination. Finally the honey cake was delightful. Somehow achieving the combination of being very sweet and rich while also being quite light. We'll be returning soon!
Huge portions for very reasonable prices. Was very pleased with service, the waitress spoke fluently in English, Russian and Lithuanian. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Not to mention great playlist of Lithuanian songs!
As an English customer with a Lithuanian girlfriend, I have been to many restaurants in Lithuania and UK but I can honestly say the food here is the best!! I loved every dish and every drink. The meal came with excellent customer service too! You can't go wrong with Ruta. I encourage English people to go here more, the food is divine. Top marks!
When we arrived ( prebooked) we were welcomed with a warm greeting, the interior was lovely, the food was absolutely amazing, definitely worth the money. Unfortunately the portion was too big for us but we were able to have the remainders boxed up to take with us. Highly recommend. Amazing food and amazing service.
