Probably the best Indian restaurant I have been to for years. Have ordered 3 times from here recently and food has been great every time

Recommended and real hidden gem. Naan is some of best ever had. Both dishes and rice were so tasty and bigger than expected. Great friendly service.

I have been here now about 3 or 4 times, and by far some of the tastiest, authentic cuisine. King Prawn en Puri starter is so tasty. The service is also impeccable. I called in this evening without a reservation with my sister and our children and we're treated like royalty. Fabulous cuisine and fabulous service. I had forgotten it was a cash only place, and told the staff that i would nip out after we had ordered the mains. I was worrying slightly as i do not like the feeling of not having the money on me, but they were so kind and said not to worry and i could sort it out after the meal. Considering what some people do like leaving without paying, this was incredibly kind of you We loved our evening, thank you Joy Bangla

In the area for a few hours and was recommended this restaurant. Not the best but was ok . Food was only Luke warm , popadoms were soft , larger was the worst pint I’ve ever drunk .

I have visited Joy Bangla many times over the past 7/8 months and I have never been disappointed. I stumbled upon the restaurant by chance with my family and we all said from the start that it was the best Indian food we have eaten in the UK (and we are regular eaters of Indian food). The broad menu means you can always try something different (if you can resist getting the same thing again because I can assure you it will be incredible). The service is outstanding. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming and make you feel at home. Shuhel (manager) is the most genuine, caring and passionate owner I’ve come across. He truly cares about his business and strives to make every customer’s experience the best it can be. I have never felt so content in a restaurant. I don’t just recommend, I highly encourage you to attend Joy Bangla and experience a fantastic evening of food. Thank you guys!

Haven't been back in a while, food was decent, pickle tray was alright, mainly sauces - wished the chilli was were more pickles. The Korma was nice, the house Banglar Taste was rich and aromatic with chunks of chicken and lamb. The Naan was excellent BTW, crispy at base and pillowy on top... Just a little skimpy on the portion sizes IMHO, esp the rice and meat in the Banglar. Can't fault on the service tho, staff were excellent.
