   Food was nice, very nice. Very busy and had to wait a fair while to get food. There was also an annoying fruit fly buzzing around us. Which isnt the fault of the establishment, but thought I'd mention it. Would go again

   Had a family carvery at the weekend. Its a big family friendly country pub with plenty of seating and an outdoor play area. I had heard that portions were a bit tight so opted for the large plate. It was massive and I could not finish it all. Normal plate would have been fine. Would recommend.

   A nice pub that serves food, well worth a visit. Plenty of parking with a big beer garden. I had the creamy mushrooms to start with which were delicious. Cajun steak pasta for main.

   Really enjoyed our visit. I think the speed to plate up to table for a large group was the issue causing some meals delivered not to be super hot. Two starters were sent back they were too cold. Great restaurant and plenty of out door seating. Ladies toilets need updating.

   Always had a good meal here. Been on two separate occasions. Their pizza is beautiful and their burgers are more than enough to feed a starving hippo. Plenty of choice for drinks too. They have special offers on at different days of the week. Also dog friendly.

   best to book, meat's (3) are cooked to perfection, good choice of veg, the only thing they could improve on is the vegetarian dish all they had was vegetable pie not very imaginative add some quorn it's not difficult, we are going again sunday, booking tomorrow (sat) &i will be asking if they could do this!!, let you know later, the reason it's 4 *'s is nothing is perfect but it was delicious just let down by the vegetarian dish

   Absolutely gorgeous food! I can highly recommend the dipping breads and olives, the chilli was exactly how you imagine a chilli should be. The falafel starter was gorgeous and something totally different to anything I've seen on a menu before. Staff are very chirpy and helpful, extremely welcoming and give great service. We Will be going again as I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

   Lovely beer garden - shame the view of the water is covered a bit by advertising - a nice open view of the lake would be nice ! However nice place - huge portions of food / the fish and chips could have fed two of us - very good - and the burger piggy in the middle was great - no wonder we had to walk 3 miles as nostell priory afterwards
