Really tasty and affordable Kurdish food. Super friendly staff. The service can be a bit quicker. They accept only cash. However, they give free lentil soup and bottled water. They have separate family section which is a plus. Parking is a bit limited and the surrounding area is not really good. But you’ll never regret the try.
Came to try the qozy lamb. Good portions and fall-off-the-bone tender. Courteous service, delicious complimentary lentil soup. All this for £9. Update April 2024- came again to try all the other lamb dishes. Lamb shank (machiceh) was really soft, roast lamb likewise moist, qaliya lamb stew ok but not my favourite, and shish tikka and kofta kebab made for some variety, though were less satisfying than the lamb pieces. My favourite is still the qozy lamb that comes with the 2 pieces of lamb, also because the rice that comes with it is different from the other dishes. Appreciate the complimentary mineral water as well.
Due to my work, I am travelling all around the United Kingdom and I have tried middle east foods all over the UK. I can this place is the BEST place where I had middle east food. Obviously, they have some negatives about service and atmosphere but the taste of the foods closed all of it. I had there, • Lentil soup ( they are offering free) • Okra • Lamb ( Qaliya) • Rice I paid for all these delicious foods £11
Great restaurant, especially with the variety of dishes offered. The food is very tasty, there is a special place for families inside. I consider this restaurant one of the best Iraqi food in Leeds. I recommend this restaurant to all who love Middle Eastern food such as kebabs and biryani. The place is near Bus No. 42. Worth visiting and experiencing.
We reserved for 9 people to eat at the restaurant when we went there they gave the table to some one else we as a family was very disappointed and upset not professional i was regular there but will not be going there anymore. Don't reserve table there they care about money more than customer not happy as they spoiled our night.
Cannot believe what a great all round experience I’ve just had!!! The food was amazing, the place was clean, warm and inviting, and the staff / service was perfect. The most surprising part was the price - absolute bargain!!! I’m still in disbelief. I pass this place several times a week and have often dismissed it. I’m glad I randomly called in and found such a gem!

I highly recommend The meal here is nice and they have an area dedicated to family. Very well thought through The meal is overly generously portioned - a meal for 2 can conveniently feed 3-4. To minimise food waste you can be firm about not wanting 2nans that is serve with your meat and rice order.
i really like it , the staff are the best so helpful and nice, also the food is incredible testy .
