Really disappointed in the service here again tonight. Leading me to leave a disappointing review. This became our local chippy in 2017 and has been our go to ever since. Despite what seems to be a price increase every few months which means our visits are less due to the cost. But the food has always been lovely. Tonight I ordered what we have every time, a large donner kebab in a pitta and a regular mixed kebab in a pitta, and a large chips. The girl said do you want salad and sauce in the kebab, and I said yes please should I tell you now what, or when your doing it and she shrugged and said whenever. I could see meat in the trays she held through the counter and asked for my desired salad and sauces for both. And wrapped them as normal and I came home. So we were given kebab meat on top of chips. For both. To our dismay. No pitta. Just more chips than we knew what to do with. Nothing worse when you are starving after working 11 hour shift. And so unlike them aswell. We called and apparently no driver so if we wanted the pittas, we needed to drive back there ourselves to get them. Also the girl who served me saying in the back ground that I watched her do my sauce and salad, which I did, over the counter, but I wasn’t checking and all I could see was the kebab meat. And because the bill was £25.70 I wanted my pittas. (Had a curry sauce aswell) my husband was reassured they’d be ready for when he got there. Which he’d mentioned would be 5 mins or so. He waited out of the cue for a few mins, seen by all 3 staff. Obvious it was him, no apology or anything. Turns out the pittas were in foil in a warm draw or something. My husband said something along the lines of so they’ve been sat there this whole time. Said server had to have a curry sauce order repeated 3 times in the few mins my husband stood there waiting to his disbelief. Which proves our point of her just not listening and getting the order wrong.same as she did last time but it was only one meal so we didn’t complain that time. We was offered a bottle of pop on the phone when my husband asked if we could be compensated in some way, a voucher or something, because we were driving back to the chip shop again. A bottle of pop!!!!!! My husband thought it was insult and to be honest so do I! I’m certain we can’t be the only people disappointed because that’s twice on the bounce now. A different woman came out of the kitchen with body language that says it all to be honest. For years it was fantastic, two women in particular used to work there all the time, and they were brilliant great service, efficient even had the time to ask you how your day had been. Prices gone up. Generally lacking in a few standard things hence my poor review. Will drive 3-4 mile in the future to a place that’s more affordable and they can get a few chips and couple of kebabs right.

We use Pat’s regularly as he is our local chippy. Extremely disappointing today. It was busy when we arrived and ordered large chips and salad. Chips were a regular at best, barely enough to serve 2 of us and salad was given in a paper bag that dissolved on the way home leaving my salad on the back seat of the car. Will be a while before we return. Shame as we have never encountered any issues before.

Ordered a chicken donner, was served a mix. Ordered a mix meat and chips, got served just lamb. Supervisor overlooked both, seemed fine with not paying attention to what was actually doing served. Ended up paying for food I didn’t order.
