   Out of a handful of local Chinese takeaways we always go for the Phoenix, and have never regretted our choice! Food is consistently lovely, the Salt and Pepper chips are the best I have ever eaten, never soggy, lovely level of spice to them and great portion size. Food is always hot, prepared quickly and the staff are friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese in the area definitely give Phoenix a go. 10/10!!

   I placed an order for the first time with The Phoenix in Rubery, it has to be one of the best chinese I have tasted in a long time every dish i order had been tasty.. Even when it was delivered to bromsgrove it was still hot. I would recommend this shop for the quality and taste of food we had paid for.

   STAY AWAY FROM THESE RESTAURANT ! ! ! WORST Chinese restaurant in my life !!! I ordered takeout Chicken Fried Rice I was hungry so I asked how much a portion weighed , the woman said 650 grams I decided to buy. When I got home, I weighed the portions out of curiosity Imagine my surprise - the portion with the packaging weighs 536 grams only. Without thinking, I get into the car and take back the still warm portions with a complaint. I asked for my money back and showed a picture of the scale. The seller states that they always give such portions , so why they tricked me and said 650 grams ???? If I had known it was such a small portion, I would never have bought it !!!! They grimly tossed the money onto the table for me ! No word that they're sorry, that they're apologizing - NOTHING !!! This is cheating customers, not business !!! Restaurants like this should be closed !!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

   Gutted! been ordering the Singapore chow mein from here for over 15 yrs! it's always been amazing but not anymore unfortunately. Asked for it extra hot as usual but it only had a hint of spice in it. There was also scrambled egg througout it which I've never had before, very weird! not impressed at all.

   Ordered 2 Singapore chew mein chicken curry and chips .. chew mein was dry and tasteless lacking in meat just bits of,chicken curry yuk.looked like baby poo ..I don’t even think it was chicken and full of onions to bulk it up. The chips were disgusting dry and definitely cold then warmed up in the microwave to send out .. my son and partner said it’s the worst curry they have ever had. I won’t be using them again

   Ordered my food tonight and the man has got my order wrong. I rang up to explain something was wrong and got spoken to like rubbish. I was told that this was my problem. They said they do not do salt and pepper chicken so sent me sweet and sour chicken, they are completely different. I'm a regular customer or shall I say was and this is how they treat you. Disgusting. An apology for the mistake may have been nice atleast.

   Sorry, but, not impressed. I had a vegetable curry with boiled rice. Very boring, mostly sauce and very tasteless. Had many vegetable curries in my time, none as tasteless as this. All I can say is that it was edible. Disappointed. Sorry.
