   This was my first fish n’ chips in 2 years as I live in France and haven’t been back since. What an experience! Jo, an incredibly nice and helpful lady explained the menu and asked us if everything was going well many times. I was speechless as I think I had just tasted the best fish n chips ever. I completely understand why the have such a high rating on Google… it’s completely justified! Thank you Jo

   I went here last night with family. We all ordered traditional fish and chips with mushy peas. The staff (Sam and Isabelle I think ) were friendly, attentive and efficient. The fish and chips were first class. Clean plates all round! We all had a drink (draught peroni ,tea or g and t ) and most had northern bloc ice cream for afters Contrary to some reviews below I thought the prices were reasonable too. About £20. Per head. Great place couldn’t fault it .

   We travelled 10,000 miles from Australia to reminisce at our favourite chippy and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by Jo who was so lovely and friendly, our food was amazing and we all loved everything we had. The fish and the chips were just the best, so delicious. Thank you for such a lovely part of our holiday.

   Came here for a birthday meal. I don't eat fish so I was glad to see they had a few other options and I really enjoyed my chicken burger. Vegetarian son had the Mac and cheese bites (they were a starter), as a main with some chips. It all looked very good and we had puddings too. My only comment would be that it would be good to have a few more vegetarian and vegan options as my son didn't have much choice. I appreciate that it's a fish restaurant but when you are a group, sometimes there's a vegetarian in that group.

   What a lovely experience this afternoon! The fish and chips were piping hot and seriously the best we have tasted in a long while! No scrimping on the portions either, they were a good size. The service was also friendly, quick and they couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely book in advance though as it was all but full when we arrived on a Sunday tea time.

   It's a fish and chip shop with a restaurant that serves..... fish and chips. In my opinion, it does this perfectly. The food is spot on and the service is good old fashioned genuine care and pride by Jo my waitress. I had the jumbo fish (16 oz) and battled through it to the very end. The fish was fantastic and fresh, highly recommend this place. The atmosphere fits the genre and again is spot on. Loved it.

   Food was absolutely delicious. Seafood Platter is to die for. Staff were friendly & although been VERY busy, they did a great job. 4 Adults + drinks, less the £80. Great value. We will return.
