Had a very happy get together lunch today. Service great, especially our pink lady. Food was good and enjoyable atmosphere. Priveledged to contribute to the meals for the homeless service they are supporting. Well done all at The Winding Wheel. From The Williams and Taylor families.
Absolutely loved it. The welcoming atmosphere, the decor, comfortable and warm and the food, oh my goodness it was cooked to perfection and delicious.Theres also a free salad bar with main meals & the salad was delicious and so fresh. What made the visit really sparkle was the staff, sooo lovely and welcoming, I'm definitely going back there more regularly. A little hint..Parking is free but don't forget to input your registration number in the tablet near the front desk, it's easily missed out.
I visited the Resturant with my partner this morning! From the initial greeting, menu and food quality, the experience was amazing. We have just recently moved to the area and I think we’ve already found our favourite spot! Jean served us today, her attention to detail and patience to get us what we need was exceptional!
Atmosphere is great, service really good. The salad bar as always is good. Honestly great service and atmosphere. But neither my lad (5) nor myself could finish our mains. His pizza was poor tasting like a chilled sainsburys budget one, my rice bowl was nice except.i ordered a salmon and whilst it was nice it was burnt. Not blackened burnt. I tried but a shame tbh. The shift supervisor was exceptionally kind and tbh was a fantastic professional. Very astute and caring much like the rest of the staff. Would go again happily to have that service.
Only went for desserts this time eveything you would expect from a harvester really friendly staff clean tables ect they did forget our drinks though and our gransons drink overall a nice place for a family meal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good 'pub grub', friendly staff. Would have been a 5 star if salad bar was better stocked and fresher. Food menu constant quality and usually quite quick to come out, although the place can get busy and best to book in advance, as can't always get a table if you turn up at busy periods without prior booking. Parking free but remember to log your vehicle registration on arrival. All in all a nice reliable place to eat. Keep a look out for email discount codes as this can be helpful. Would recommend for entire family.
Lovely place to eat. Nice decor, excellent food quality and service! Has parking and is more than reasonably priced.
Loved it. Was strange waitress making salad at the salad bar but I likes it and she was extremely generous!
