Lovely place to stay. Clean, warm, friendly staff who go the extra mile. Nice and peaceful sleep despite being set back from the main road. Delicious food and very good value.
A great friendly local pub, decent food at a good price served with a friendly service. They serve a great range of beers, wines and other drinks. Also show live sports. I have not stayed in the rooms as I live within the area. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Not used the rooms but the food either dinner time or evening are always done as requested. And the Sunday roasts are even better cannot fault the place .from the owners to the bar staff ..i don't go anywhere else for meal's as this is a perfect location to where I live .highly recommend
Went out for lunch , the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I had lasagne chips salad and coleslaw very generous portions, and it was homemade. I can't remember the exact price, but it was about £7 I would definitely recommend it.
Food always delicious and pleasant service.
Visited as we was going to the rugby and didn't realise that you had to book for food but they managed to squeeze us in which we were very appreciative about and we wasn't disappointed at all, we know for next time we're in the area to book before visiting. Thank you to all the staff
Food is beautiful and for a fair price , bar staff are very nice, but 1 waitress around 50 years old short and with short hair never smiled once and basically came across as though she would rather be anywhere else but there. Shame really because everything else is tip top!
