Ive only ordered pizzas/calzones/ burgers from here and most times its been spot on. A couple of times the pizzas have been slighltt undercooked (doughy around the edges) but the quality of ingredients is good.

I rang to ask about set meal for 4 as it only had 2 popadoms so he said he would give me 4. I also questioned why 4 meals only came with 1 rice to be told that one included rice, 1 included naan, 2 included chips and last one includes 2 chapatties. Fair enough so far. Then I asked if 4 soft drinks and naan could be substituted for extra starters and accepted his offer of 2 extra onion bhajies and madras strength chicken curry. So far so good and must say that food was good apart from tiny sized samosas x2 and all 4 curries came in plastic tubs which were only half filled. If they had been filled I would have given a better rating review. I also ordered XL special Donna kebab for £10.50 which certainly didn’t look extra large. Total spent £42.50 which is considerably cheaper than eating out nevertheless. Cash only payment accepted on collection even though it states they accept card payment on website

Being very honest, due to some of the Google reviews we'd mainly avoided this place for about 8 years (apart from a few poppadoms and fries orders here and there). However two curry takeaways - 5 different curries with sides - in 24\25 both been very tasty - you can see the fresh herbs and spice toppings. All vegetarian and also pick ups so can't comment on the meat or delivered food. So I reckon even for people who've had a bad delivery a pick up curry well worth a go - guaranteed still hot at least! Owner is very pleasant too.

This used to be my quick easy go to takeout, last couple times I’ve give them benefit of doubt now they’re taking the p*ss. Cold kebab, larges are literally like X small. Would not recommend . 1 can of Pepsi 1 small chips 1 kebab.

Ordered a takeaway and when it eventually got here the chips and rice were cold, the korma didn’t taste like korma and the Buna was extremely oily and not to mention the 2 hairs we found in our food will not be ordering from here again

We have been buying meals from Topa since we moved to the area and are always happy with the food and service. They offer good value for money in terms of food quality and portion sizes, especially for the price point. The burgers and kebabs are good takeaway staples for a Friday night (or a Saturday morning). However, the chef really excels at Indian dishes and he clearly takes pride in these. He is always happy to talk through the menu and make recommendations. We have been particularly impressed by the home made chapatis and naan bread. The range of curry dishes is also excellent. All of the food is freshly prepared and there is a real focus on flavour. Some of the curries are served, perhaps, with a little too much oil. However, this is a quick fix as it can just be skimmed from the top of the container to suit personal taste; a cold spoon works best. The oil does carry a lot of the spice flavour so we tend to leave it in. Our highlight dishes would be the chicken tikka starter and the karahi curries. These offer real value in terms of portion size, flavour and quality. In summary, this is an excellent, local, home grown curry house and we intend to remain loyal customers.

A mediocre takeaway at best, however, last night's food was truly terrible. How someone could look at that mess and deem it suitable for delivery is beyond me. Pizza was burnt (photo doesn't do it justice), the one enormous bhaji was cooked to oblivion and was like a cracker around the edges and everything else was soaking wet from sweating in its packaging. It's certainly our last order to Topa Balti.
