This place never seems to be open anymore whenever we come to order it always seems to be shut. What a way to run a business.
The set meal is economical and affordable. I bought a set meal for two people, including corn soup, for 23 pounds. It tasted good. Payment must be made in cash.
I love my battered chicken balls to be properly crunchy. These were excellent! The sweet and sour sauce was lovely too. Staff so friendly. Food is hot tasty and delicious. Yummmm. Thank you x I did collect, not delivery.
I buy the sirloin steak and chips with gravy, no veg. It took me about 2 months to find a decent steak, this is very probably the best in Leeds! I've ordered from 8, maybe 10 takeaways to find a steak I like. "I NOW ORDER FROM 'New Shanghai' 3 or 4 TIMES A WEEK AND I WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE"!!!! Keep it up 'New Shanghai" your food is "GREAT"!!!
Best crispy chilli dishes in Leeds! Always tasty and hot with speedy delivery and owners are really lovely too.
I had assorted appetisers and char char siu jun po with chips. The appetisers were ok but the pork in the char siu was hard and contained more fat and gristle than meat.
Better that the Dinner box near Seacroft hospital, but maybe better if the sauses were less thick !
Reasonable quality (especially compared to the 'new Dinner Box'). Decent sized quantity and hot. Staff are lovely. Some sauces are a bit thick and heavy.
