   Lovely friendly pub. Very dog friendly. Spacious seating. Helpful staff. Home cooked food which was delicious and good portion size. Excellent VFM for size and quality of meals. Chef was flexible and helpful for my vegan requirements. Thank you! We will be back.

   Visited the Harvey for a meal and drinks , very disappointed in the standard of their cod mornay special x2. Initially it came to us and was only warm brought to the attention of the waiter who took the meals away.The same meals came back having been heated up the leeks in the dish came back stingy and like elastic. In due respect the waiter offered a free dessert for me but nobody else on the table was choosing one.Found the drinks a tad expensive for a local.

   Lovely private venue. Nice staff. Can’t speak about food as went there for birthday party and food was ordered from elsewhere, but everyone was complaining about drinks prices. Pint of nonalcoholic cider cost £5,20 when in Doncaster town centre is £3,50. Pint of Guinness and glass of Prosecco £15.

   Called here today for lunch. Lovely place, comfortable and friendly staff. We ordered the battered cod and steak and ale pie. The cod fillet was very thin, even though the beer batter was spot on, it would have been perfect with more fish. As for the pie the filling was delicious but the pastry was far too thick and heavy. It's not the nicest being criticized for all your hard work but I'm hoping these minor observations will be taken on board in a constructive way as the majority of our meal was enjoyed.

   What a lovely Country Pub. Popped in one lunch time for a meal, the staff were lovely and helpful. There was two log burners fired up, which gave the place a cosy feel and helped after coming in our of the cold. I had a 10oz Gammon Steak which was succulent and cooked to perfection, as was the egg, chips and peas. Prices of meals and drinks were very reasonable also. Overall a very welcoming and cosy place to enjoy a drink and a meal.

   We went for something to eat on our way to the Yorkshire wildlife park. We had Sunday roast which was very nice I liked it that you could have a small or large one. My granddaughter had the children's menu which she enjoyed. We also had desserts which were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful I would recommend the Harvey arms to anyone who wants good food.

   Been for a second visit, two young ladies front of house, bags of energy. Lovely surroundings, just needs a few little touches, great outside area / beer garden for warmer months. Most of all a fantastic main course from the specials board of braised beef, mash and root veg and amazing proper gravy, get that dish on your daily menu, beautiful.
