Had a lunchtime box meal today, fish, chips and gravy (yes I know!) and it was gorgeous. Just the right size for lunch. Lovely crispy batter, chunky chips and gravy with no lumps! Great price too. Had a chance to speak to the owner and lady serving, both were friendly and chatty. All food cooked fresh, with minimal wait! I would certainly recommend.

I had one of the lunch time specials, fish and chip box meal with spicy curry. It was beautiful, fish cooked perfectly, lovely chips and the spicy curry is to die for.

New ownership in November since I came end of last year '24. They've made a few changes one being it now takes card payments (£5min) and added more lunch time meal deals. Had the lunch time small fish and chips with gravy £5.60 at time of writing, still a good portion enough for lunch with freshly cooked fish and gravy so thick the fork stands up. The chips were okay bit thinner than I think they used to be but still did the job. So still a good chippy, maybe not as good as it was but only been open a few months so will try next time I'm in the area.

Best fish & chips in the area. Moved to Normanton 7 months ago, and have tried the others which have been hit & miss, but today’s the first time we tried Parkside Fisheries and were so impressed with both the chips and the fish - such a delicious batter. Will definitely be our regular chippy from now on!

Well done place, great chips, but sadly I've never tried the fish. But they let you salt and vinegar your own stuff. My friend once got a mysterious meat with her meal once, but it was tasty to be fair. Thanks for the generous meat donation. Love itttt.

Called in today, first time here. Ordered fish and a fishcake twice for me and my dad ( he's very picky ). Quick friendly service. Fish was lovely and the fishcakes were perfect, definitely calling here again in the future.
