Been here multiple times, food is always perfect, staff are friendly and helpful.. excellent cocktails too. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, even though we arrived one hour late owing to a blockage on the A1. The decor is "interesting", takes your mind off the remodelled interior. However, for those of us with mobility issues the toilet facility left a lot to be desired. I didn't expect to be confronted by a locked door. I don't like staircases, especially when the handrail is missing. Might only be temporary but needs to be fixed as a matter of urgency. I believe this failure is actually illegal in a restaurant.

First visit. Lovely decor. Staff friendly. THE biggest fruit scones I've ever seen, each accompanied by enough jam and cream to satisfy three! Only downside was that the four us didn't get our orders within the same time period (two liqueur coffees were a tad delayed). Regardless, I'd still go back.

Nice local bar. Great nibbles. Only thing that let's it down (and this is being picky) is their glassware. What are they thinking? The glasses are straight out of a 1980s pound shop! Sort this, and the place would be faultless!

I haven't been to the Town House for a number of years, it used to be so classic now it's just a shock to see it so chav, I thought I was in an hair dressers with padded walls and shocking pinks and velvet . It was freezing in there not how you want to have a cosy atmosphere from the cold outside it was actually warmer outside, and the loo was like an ice box wow wow get some heating on. The coffee was cold the food so expensive for a lunch time. Even taking the salt away to put on other tables we had to ask for it more than once to be returned, buy some salt pots. I was meeting a friend that hadn't been there before I had told her it was lovely I felt so disappointed and quite embarrassed. We had travelled from Nottingham and Leeds. So I have to say we won't be returning .

Cannot fault the place from the staff to the food! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food is to die for. Especially their bacon jam and chilli jam. Service is swift and always with a smile. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Wow. That was the best meal we've ever had. From walking in to walking out was amazing. The food was absolutely gorgeous, brilliant chef. The staff were polite friendly nothing too much trouble for them. They had entertainment on who made the evening perfect. Would highly recommend going, you certainly won't regret it.
