“The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we wanted to see for ourselves if it really deserves a 5 star review. I can definitely say that it trellis deserves more than that: from the cosy atmosphere to delicious food and excellent care from the staff, a very delightful evening was at hand.”

The food is bursting with authentic flavour; you can tell everything’s made with real care and fresh ingredients. The pizzas are perfect — thin, crispy crusts with generous toppings — and the pasta dishes are rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. “Fantastic service here the person working on 28/04/2025 really looked after us bringing out lots of dishes for us to try, the food was great came out in good time, was hot and very tasty. I would definitely go back as me and my friends really enjoyed our get together here.”

“If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”

“We recently visited the Indus restaurant for a family event used their function room and it couldn't have been better, spacious, beautifully decorated, and the service was exceptional, staff went above and beyond. Having used Indus previously the quality of the food is always on point and was no exception this time. Everyone who attended commented on how fantastic the food and setting were. “We celebrated our 70th birthday with cooked meals for 21 family members and not a complaint from any one. Meals came out together as fast as they could be carried through from kitchen. We always enjoy our meals when we call in about once a week, but a little worried about us all getting our orders correct, We needent have worried, every thing was top notch, nice and hot. The chef even catered for one that is gluten intolerant, one with a nut allergy but a quick word with the chef and all sorted. The orders ranged from pie n peas, fish n chips, steaks, T.Bone steaks, mixed grills, chicken fajitas and my very own favourite smothered chicken. We were a very happy crowd and all satisfied at the end of the evening. The bar is always in tip top condition with beers as they should be. Thank you for making it memorable. WE WILL BE BACK.”

“We were recommended to visit this establishment by a friend, and to be honest, we weren't disappointed. We viewed the menu online beforehand and felt that the selection of dishes was much more extensive than at other Indian restaurants we had dined in before. Upon our arrival, the staff made us feel very welcome. We were seated at a window table and promptly served drinks, allowing us time to peruse the menu. Many of the dishes offered, apart from the classic curries, looked intriguing, so we decided to ask for more information. TThe waiter who served us was very knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions for us to try. The food was cooked to perfection, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes he recommended. Each dish offered something unique, ranging from mild to very spicy, and the presentation was outstanding with vibrant, well-displayed plates. Overall, the dining experience at Lancers was well worth the trip, especially if you're looking for something different from the typical Indian food offered at most curry houses. I would highly recommend this restaurant, as it offers a dining experience that's worth the visit.”

“What a find! A supremely comfortable stay awsurs you here.. From safe, easy parking on site to the full turnkey experience, Helen has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Super soft towels, quality bed linen, a fully set dining table, TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, fresh milk, juice, fizz, brownies, we were truly spoilt. Immaculately clean and so well equipped. Top notch accommodation, ten out of ten.”

“Visited the Elephant and Castle in Doncaster yesterday evening for my friends hen do. I cannot recommend the place enough. The food was absolutely delicious, they boxed up what we had left for us to take away. The service was amazing, they changed the table size last minute and yet still provided us with a free bottle of Prosecco & mocktails. Evening though the restaurant was empty - due to football most likely the service did not fail us! We didn’t feel rushed to get out in the slightest. Absolutely amazing place and I for one will be sure to be returning! Big shout out for Becka, for being the best waitress and checking in on us to make sure everything was good for us! “Value for money is all I can say and the food was nice, we sat down the guy offered us 2 soups, they were tasty, then we ordered a large platter to share for £20 and it look at the video to see what we got, all of this for £20 and 50p for a bottle of water now that’s value for money”
