“Tha food is wonderful, however, it's cash only, make sure you ask for your receipt or you won't get one. Service when we went there last week, was slow and I'm not totally sure how to describe the two guys working the tables, one was really nice, the other though was pleasant, but not sure about him! We were 8, 6 adults one 5 year old and a baby, and we were a loud group, so maybe he had reservations about us. We did have a lovely evening despite my gripes.”

“My partner and I had an amazing weekend, staying in this gorgeous hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, the location was gorgeous and the food was amazing. The hotel manager, Tim, made our stay wonderful by making sure we had everything we wanted. Can’t thank Tim and the staff enough. We will definitely be booking another stay soon.”

“Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. Food is amazing and the portions are huge so you’ll never leave on an empty stomach. The staff are friendly and attentive and really care about their customers. We enjoyed our time here, thank you! “I came across this bar on Saturday and absolutely loved it, loved the upcycled theme throughout and the vibe inside was really good. Really loved the beer kegs turned into stools! The bar staff were friendly and helpful and quick service. The drinks were quiet expensive compared to other bars but they tasted so good I didn't mind paying that bit extra. Will be going again and recommending it to all my friends.”

“Popped in for a drink on Saturday, after seeing the wonderful meals coming out from the kitchen we decided to stay and have a meal. Gorgeous food I’m not one to leave reviews but honestly the food was delicious I had vegetarian lasagne my husband had sausage and mash. It was so good we booked for Sunday dinner the next day, once again gorgeous honestly you have got to try this place, great friendly staff and the food well it has to be tried, absolutely gorgeous.”

“Magical experience! Nothing too much trouble, if you want to add to or jiggle the menu around a bit that's fine. Best value for money for miles around! Everything freshly cooked to order, arrived quickly and huge portions. Would absolutely return, I can highly recommend.”

“A great find, only a small menu, but don't let this put you off. The food is excellent. Freshly cooked and really tasty. Good coffee, too. I had a cappuccino and don't normally have chocolate on top, but this chocolate actually tasted like real chocolate. The staff are friendly and there is a really nice atmosphere too. Will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.”

“Stayed at HEX on a coach trip from Cornwall. This is a fantastic hotel the concept of the hotel is fantastic. Rooms modern very clean well equipped. A separate resutrant and bar fantastic to be seperate from rooms. Great to have wildlife park on the complex no travelling. Also a complex of shops places to eat and coffee shops. The staff are wonderful so friendly can't do enough for you it's all the extra care to detail to make your stay great I have stayed in a lot of hotels Hex is first class. Highly recommended. Thanks to all staff see you again.”

The Tikka on Naan was outstanding too, full of taste and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the customer service was excellent with friendly and clear communication. “I believe in telling it as I find it. Easy ordering, nice mannered girl on the phone. Food arrived VERY quickly, hardly enough time to cook it. Food lovely flavour, fresh and hot. Plenty of it too, nice quality. Funnily enough, many years ago I lived next door to this shop. Now I live nearly 300 miles away... (NO, the delivery WAS very local) There really isn't an atmosphere to comment on. N/A”

Absolutely brilliant cottage. loads of space did not want for anything. surroundings are lovely, the play barn which has everything children and adults would need also plenty to do for the kids in the area.
