“First time visit. A lovely affordable steak and grill. I had the 8oz fillet, zamutos salad for main which was cooked perfectly! The muscles for starter were also beautiful.”

My family and I came from abroad, and we were pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the staff were. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and served well. Despite seeing some negative reviews, our visit was honestly excellent from start to finish. The service, food, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. Definitely deserving of a solid 5 stars!”

“Aww wow! Go here! We go to bawtry most Sundays, So we decided to explore the surrounding villages, this place was amazing. We rocked up after serving time, and the chef ( lovely lovely guy) came out and showed us the menus, and was more than happy to cook for us. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere was so nice and all the staff were helpful, funny and lovely! We’re going again next week. X”

“If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”

“We recently visited the Indus restaurant for a family event used their function room and it couldn't have been better, spacious, beautifully decorated, and the service was exceptional, staff went above and beyond. Having used Indus previously the quality of the food is always on point and was no exception this time. Everyone who attended commented on how fantastic the food and setting were. “Me and the wife went for tea yesterday and all I can say is nice very nice the size of meal you get is big the food was red hot has it should be and it was real food not the freezer stuff. The owner lovely and we went when it wasn't to busy so bouns. They are obviously trying to keep their prices down because two large meals two large glasses of wine and one beer £40 I know some of you might think that is expensive but it's not for the quality of food we got and drinks. Thank you we will be going back.”

“Visited with daughters for Brunch. Lucky to get a table as always busy. The most difficult thing is choosing from the menu. Everything sounds delicious... And is. We had the full breakfast, the Hudson and a Bagel. Portions are a good size and freshly cooked. The staff are amazing, I wish we could visit more often.”

“Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. “I came across this bar on Saturday and absolutely loved it, loved the upcycled theme throughout and the vibe inside was really good. Really loved the beer kegs turned into stools! The bar staff were friendly and helpful and quick service. The drinks were quiet expensive compared to other bars but they tasted so good I didn't mind paying that bit extra. Will be going again and recommending it to all my friends.”

“Having come as a recommendation and seeing the good reviews we decided to give it a go and was so happy. The staff were very friendly (especially Sarah) who was very chatty and welcoming. There was plenty of choice and we got meals from different sections of the menu as well as the specials board and it was all great. The Steak & Ale pie was especially amazing!! We didn't have starters so we could try the desserts and they were also all so good!! We will definitely go back again and even though it's a bit more expensive, it is definitely worth it!! Can't wait to try it in summer as well with the live music and beer garden. Thank you all so much. Have been for a second visit with friends to introduce them. Service was a bit slow but it was a beautiful day and all the tables were full. The food was amazing again and we even tried the ice cream parlour next door which was so nice. Spent an hour in the beer garden which was large and I would say it's alright. Tables and chairs were all solid and better than some basic ones. Still 5 stars from me!!”

“This is without any doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in Yorkshire. With a car park included, a dress code is in place, a shirt is required for gents and no shorts. Food is excellent, on top of quality and the facilities are amazing and plenty of space, don't need to be sat in less than half a meter from the other table. Service is absolutely outstanding as well , very focused and pending for any request, it is a very pleasant experience every time I come with the family. Price is according to the quality, don't expect fast food pricing for this standard and this service.”

“Last night we went to the Sun Inn, at Everton near Bawtry - another ‘new’ venue for us, and only half an hours drive away. This pretty gastro-pub comes well recommended by our local area groups, and we were most impressed! Our menu choices were soft shelled crab, and Scotch egg to start. Main courses were whole plaice, sea trout, lamb burger and Caesar salad. We couldn’t resist trying the desserts and we picked cherry Bakewell Eaton mess, and cookie dough brownie! The Sun has some great menu choices, there were lots of dishes we would like to try, so a repeat visit is certainly on the cards very soon! And it’s a very sociable venue - we were soon chatting to the ladies on the table next to us!”
