“The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we wanted to see for ourselves if it really deserves a 5 star review. I can definitely say that it trellis deserves more than that: from the cosy atmosphere to delicious food and excellent care from the staff, a very delightful evening was at hand.”

The food is bursting with authentic flavour; you can tell everything’s made with real care and fresh ingredients. “If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”

“We recently visited the Indus restaurant for a family event used their function room and it couldn't have been better, spacious, beautifully decorated, and the service was exceptional, staff went above and beyond. Having used Indus previously the quality of the food is always on point and was no exception this time. Everyone who attended commented on how fantastic the food and setting were. “We celebrated our 70th birthday with cooked meals for 21 family members and not a complaint from any one. Meals came out together as fast as they could be carried through from kitchen. We always enjoy our meals when we call in about once a week, but a little worried about us all getting our orders correct, We needent have worried, every thing was top notch, nice and hot. The chef even catered for one that is gluten intolerant, one with a nut allergy but a quick word with the chef and all sorted. The orders ranged from pie n peas, fish n chips, steaks, T.Bone steaks, mixed grills, chicken fajitas and my very own favourite smothered chicken. We were a very happy crowd and all satisfied at the end of the evening. The bar is always in tip top condition with beers as they should be. Thank you for making it memorable. WE WILL BE BACK.”

“Value for money is all I can say and the food was nice, we sat down the guy offered us 2 soups, they were tasty, then we ordered a large platter to share for £20 and it look at the video to see what we got, all of this for £20 and 50p for a bottle of water now that’s value for money”

“This restaurant was recommended and see why. The food, staff and location was wonderful. We had the 'while you waiting' snack - delicious, then starters, main course and sweet. All the food was tasty and flavoursome. I had the homemade 'pie of the day' (mushroom and ale) which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The triple cooked chips (pinched from my wife's plate) were some of the best we have ever tasted. The menu is not extensive but after seeing what other diners had ordered as well, we noticed all the dishes had the same care and quality and represented very good value. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and we insisted on leaving a service charge as none was included. We throughly recommend this establishment.”

“Visited the Elephant and Castle in Doncaster yesterday evening for my friends hen do. I cannot recommend the place enough. The food was absolutely delicious, they boxed up what we had left for us to take away. The service was amazing, they changed the table size last minute and yet still provided us with a free bottle of Prosecco & mocktails. Evening though the restaurant was empty - due to football most likely the service did not fail us! We didn’t feel rushed to get out in the slightest. Absolutely amazing place and I for one will be sure to be returning! Big shout out for Becka, for being the best waitress and checking in on us to make sure everything was good for us! “Went today for Bottomless Brunch, Gave 4 stars for atmosphere as we was the only ones there... It was a Wednesday afternoon though. Food was great and fresh, Freya was a absolute diamond and a credit to this pub, we never went without a drink , she surprised us every time with a different cocktail. “From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family. The service at this Italian gem was truly exceptional — warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. Every staff member seemed genuinely passionate about making our experience special. Now the food… wow. The pasta was clearly homemade — perfectly al dente and bursting with flavor. I had the truffle mushroom ravioli, and it was hands-down one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from a Nonna’s kitchen, and the tiramisu? Divine. We also appreciated the thoughtful wine recommendations, which paired beautifully with our meal. From start to finish, everything felt authentic, elevated, and full of heart. This is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Can’t wait to come back”

“What a treat! We had never heard of this place until today, we booked for 5.30 and were welcomed with the most delicious smell of meats smoking. Firstly we sampled cider to see which we wanted to drink, we chose the peach then We had the pit tray and the tapas for 1, both came out after about ten minute wait and what a treat it was! Hot Smokey Crispy meats more than you can eat. We shall be back very soon with a few extra people to show them what we have all been missing! The staff went all out for us tonight and made us feel really welcome thank you!”

“Reserved a table for 5:30, rang at 5:30 to say we’d be late (due to traffic) & they were very understanding and completely fine with this. We arrived 15/20 minutes late and was taken straight to our table. Nathan was our server and was an absolute gem the whole time we were there. Was very accommodating and great with the kids too. Helped make my sons evening by bringing out cake and candle singing happy birthday. Food was delicious and kept on top of, nothing in short supply. As a whole, our evening was very enjoyable. “This is by far the best ever Chinese me and my husband have ever had, it's not just one thing that is outstanding here it's everything between the staff being absolutely amazing and welcoming, to the food that is just something you can't get out of your head, then the atmosphere of the place is spot on nice and open with a cozy atmosphere and finally the price well let's just say eating in or out the food is amazingly priced if you eat in it is slightly cheaper and with it being all you can eat well it's a no brainer, between all of this it all keeps me and my husband coming back.”

“If I were you I'd be very suspicious of poor reviews for this place. Have been about half a dozen times in the last year and the food is REALLY good. The buffet is exceptional for quality & choice. And I grew up in Bradford where the quality is mostly high across the board as the locals demand it. This place is up there but don't whinge about it being spicy - it's real Asian food made freshly with real spices!!!”

“This restaurant is a really good place to eat if you have young children. I won't ruin the surprise but I will tell you that there are events that occur whilst you eat your meal around the decor of the restaurant that will keep the kids entertained. The staff were so friendly and the food was well cooked. The prices were a little bit "Theme Parky" but that's expected given the venue its situated at. All in all a good place to eat for the experience.”
