Would not recommend. Our food arrived an hour late The chicken wings were pink! The pork was pink! The only thing edible was the chips.
Really disappointing. Ordered from here on Just Eat a few months ago and it was lovely. Came to order again and delivery was no longer available to our area. So we waited an hour for our order to be ready and went to collect.. All the meat was cold. Our 'bugers' were actually chunks of burger meat and cheese in a wrap. Everything was over salted and had a fake taste to it. Even the corn now had some sort of artificial flavouring to it not just plain butter as previously. The selection of sauces provided were unrecognisable. Waste of £40
Shocking. Just ordered and it was all inedible. All the meat dry and burned. Chicken salad has some crumbs of batter and the smallest amount of chicken. Do not eat here. Terrible and all gone in the bin. Spent £49 and got some money back from Deliveroo. What a waste.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't come here again. Nachos were very burnt, lathered in oil and inedible. Chicken on my salad was in an odd batter and was more batter than chicken, barely had any. Really gutted. However, my husband said the meat was very nice.
What a treat! We had never heard of this place until today, we booked for 5.30 and were welcomed with the most delicious smell of meats smoking. Firstly we sampled cider to see which we wanted to drink, we chose the peach then We had the pit tray and the tapas for 1, both came out after about ten minute wait and what a treat it was! Hot Smokey Crispy meats more than you can eat. We shall be back very soon with a few extra people to show them what we have all been missing! The staff went all out for us tonight and made us feel really welcome thank you!
I am very disappointed that we still have not recieved our order after placing it at 6.30pm it is current 21:39 and we still do not have food. We were looking forward to trying this place and hope the food is good after the wait we've had. We were advised there was road works so we did a local search around the restaurant to our house to find there is not delays. 3 Hours is an unacceptable time to wait for food, the app did not update at all which meant we made over 10 calls to reach the restaurant to get an update. Its now 19:43 and we still do not have our food.
Went for the first time last night, it’s hard to not to sound hyperbolic when discussing the quality and flavour of food. It is beyond amazing, best belly pork I’ve ever had, best pork burger I’ve ever had and best beans I’ve ever had. So good went back this morning for breakfast and currently eating the best bacon I’ve ever had
Amazing food, amazing service! One of the hidden gems in Doncaster, will definitely be returning. Can not fault the place!
Truffle hot-sauce chicken wing salad was beaut.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a BBQ joint in rural Yorkshire. The staff were very friendly and helped me with all the choices on the menu. I decided to order ribs, chips, beans and coleslaw, along with a stout on cask. The restaurant offers about 6-7 homemade sauces, they were obviously made with a lot of thought. The server generously let me try a bit of everything. Some of the recipes like the truffle BBQ sauce were completely new to me. The sauces had a good range of flavour, both tangy and spicy. Was a very nice change from the limited, overly sweet sauces at some restaurants. The chips also came with a choice of seasoning. I had the rib seasoning, which was perfect. The ribs were very good. Obviously smoked and slow cooked. Tender, but not mushy like some places that boil their ribs to simulate slow smoking. The coleslaw was nice, I think it had a bit of sesame oil in it. The beans were good and complemented the BBQ. The chips were freshly made and crisp. The portions were generous. I arrived hungry and still ended up with a takeaway portion. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone in town. I was impressed with the recipes and attention to detail. The staff were also a huge plus and made me feel very welcome.
