   Went for the Santa breakfast with my son, staff didn’t tell us what was happening we found Santa by ourselves, was the worst santa I have ever seen, was just a young lad didn’t know how to talk to the children it was so awkward; never asked us if we wanted a picture, my 5 year old son came out saying that’s not Santa.. so had to blag that one, thank god that wasn’t his only Santa experience this year, absolutely terrible and not worth the money, cost £37 for 3 of us and the interaction with Santa was less than 10 seconds.

   Food was lovely but our drinks didnt arrive until after we had finished eating! Staff didnt offer any apology. Seems like they didnt have hardly enough waiters/waitresses on for a saturday night.

   Used Toby Carvery Oulton Leeds while staying at the nearby hotel and using a £15 dinner voucher. Service was poor and I was made to feel uncomfortable when presenting the voucher, as though I was inconveniencing staff. Food quality was disappointing and I experienced stomach pain for the following two days. There was no effort to make the voucher process feel normal or welcoming. Overall, not the standard I expected.

   I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Toby Carvery! The food was delicious — everything was perfectly cooked and fresh, with generous portions and plenty of choice at the carvery. But what really made our visit stand out was the service. Our waitress, Erin, was outstanding from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her warm attitude and genuine care really made the meal extra special. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, but Erin truly went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be coming back — thank you to Erin and the team for a fantastic visit

   Really good service. Charlie was looking after our table and we were never left waiting, came over as soon as we arrived for drinks orders and to check if having carvery. Was really friendly with our son and once we had finished came over to check if wanted desserts. Was busy but expected on mother's day but was not waiting to long for carvery and food was lovely along with great deserts. Good value for money specially being mothers days

   10/10 experience. Haven't been since the revamp took place so I was super excited to go. Made a booking in case and I'm glad I did because the place was packed, which was a good sign. Only waited for our table for around 5 minutes and had our order taken immediately. Both had a carvery and the selection was fantastic not to mention the taste too. Staff were super friendly and dealt with the business very well. Will 100% be back again. Thank you for a lovely meal

   Recently refurbished. Nice surroundings but the food and service was poor. Drinks delivered after finished food and to be honest the roast potatoes were inedible,. like rocks and as the price and rocketed up to £10 for a midweek meal, it will be a long time before my family return. So much better out there for around the same price. Shame I we used to love a Toby.

   As you can tell from my previous reviews I love a good Toby carvery. If they are good I will say so if they are not I will definitely say so. This Toby has surpassed all the other ones up to now for a fantastic breakfast offering. There was no waiting for more fried eggs plenty were on offer. The sausages were perfect not hard & not overcooked. The toaster machine was placed nicely away from the main carvery so no one was holding a queue up waiting for their toast (unlike the Toby carvery near Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, please take note). They had a lovely breakfast at Yorkshire puddings available and they were not overcooked and they offered the breakfast gravy (which I feel at Toby carvery stopped offering). This would’ve been a 10 star recommendation if it was possible.
