Our goto restaurant. Believe me we've tried a few. Always a very warm welcome, nothing is too much. There are dishes on the menu unique to Agra House. If you want something special they will try and accommodate you. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
Wonderful dining experience with reasonable prices. Authentic Asian food with a variety of options. Absolutely amazing! The waiter’s are extremely kind and helpful, willing to go the extra mile to ensure that their customers are satisfied. Will definitely be visiting again!
Been here a few times - but won't return! Now, whilee the staff that I encountered were amenable and friendly. However, the food is definitely nothing special, what should be hot is medium; what should be cooked thoroughly is cooked ~ but, not to the point of "properly: The fat/oil in the curry should separate for it to be considered done ~ all you get here is an emulsifed concoction that hasn't been completed, The texture of raw ground spice can still be detected - no whole spice was encounted - hence it's incomplete!!
Extremely Disappointing Experience We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. There were three of us (my sister, her husband, and I), but only my brother-in-law wanted to eat. He placed a simple order for himself — Onion Bhaji, Egg Rice, Tandoor Roti, and Dal Tadka. Shockingly, the waiter (or perhaps the cook — we’re not sure who) refused to take the order, saying that it “cannot be done for three people.” We explained clearly that only one person was eating and the rest of us didn’t want anything(we said we don’t even want a plate, if you are thinking we are planning to share), but he still insisted we could not order like that. He even said there was “no main” in the order, which made no sense since rice and roti are clearly mains. How much food can one person be expected to eat? To make things worse, the person at the reception — who seemed to be the owner — stood there the whole time and didn’t bother to approach us or even ask what the issue was. The complete lack of courtesy and customer service was shocking. We left extremely disappointed. If this is how they treat paying customers, we would never recommend this place to anyone.
Found this open one bank holiday Monday evening when my usual Bawtry haunts weren't. Well, what a find.... I've been back numerous times since for a takeaway. All the dishes I've had this far have been excellent, my wife especially enjoys the Tandoori chicken. While i've not had the same dish twice. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended
Been there yesterday With my friend b'day and his family's The chair was spoons and chairs are dirty The white rice was dry like and the lamb curry was dry I don't recommend to anyone waste of money
Our first visit to Agra House at Blyth. Well decorated restaurant. Very welcoming atmosphere. Food exceptionally good & tasty. Attentive staff. Would definitely recommend & return
This is the worst Indian we have ever been too, the chicken was rubber, tasted like freezer burn, the rice tasted of rubber. Service was shocking, we’re watching football. The only thing that tasted nice was the garlic naan

Lovely meal from a varied menu which included many special dishes as well as the Indian restaurant usuals. Great service and reasonably priced.
