Terrible service. Was if order by servers as they walked past us 4+ times without even acknowledging us. When we asked questions were answered with one word response and no additional details. Esthetically it was a nice spot to sit and the garden was very nice. The food was pretty good. Visibly presented nicely.
We love coming to the west retford Hotel, it was our wedding venue, where my baby shower was hosted, our go to for afternoon tea and where we went for our anniversary. The food is always great and the staff are wonderful.
We booked afternoon tea for a work team celebration. We chose to sit in the Orangery which is nice and modern, although the more traditional bit of the hotel looked lovely too. The food was tasty and there was so much of it! We took some of the cakes home. We’ll be back soon ❤️

Had a cheeky afternoon tea with a friend. Although there weren't many people in I thought that the staff did a good job of making a nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic and excellent value - we were able to take a 'doggy bag' away with the cakes we couldn't manage. Highly recommended
