   Saw the 2 for 1 pizza deal advertised and tried it. The nicest pizza we've had around the Bawtry area, delivered or tasted since arriving in Bawtry over a year ago. Fresh, tasty and full of favour. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Will be going back and recommended to friends and family

   Wow! Is this the twilight zone?? I was down south last weekend and paid £4.50 - £5 for Guinness and other beers. Here £5.90 a pint in the middle of nowheresville up north. Craziness for a very average pub with a pretentious attitude. No wonder its absolutely dead here...

   Poor service, very slow and no recompense. As a group of 8 celebrating a birthday with a pre-booked reservation, we were seated promptly and the cocktail waitress came to take our order before realizing we had no menus. The choice of cocktails was minimal, so we kept it simple ordering 3 of one drink and 5 of another. The first 3 drinks arrived after about 10 minutes and around 45 minutes later 2 of the other 5 drinks arrived. Eventually after another 20 minutes the rest of the order arrived. After such a lengthy wait, we decided to place an order for a second round right away. Some time later all but 4 of the drinks placed on the second order arrived. We pointed out we were still missing drinks and they eventually arrived. Two rounds of 8 drinks with little variance in the drinks, easy enough to calculate. On receiving the bill, they had charged for 20 drinks. It would seem the 4 missing drinks had been charged as an additional order. This took some time to rectify. We complained about the poor service and would have been satisfied with maybe a 10% discount or round of shots, as you might expect from a professionally run "Cocktail bar" that cared about it's image and future business, but we received nothing, not even an apology.

   Went for cocktails in evening, party of 8. Even though the place was half empty the drinks took forever to arrive. We had to order our next round as the previous one arrived as it took so long. Got bill wrong at the end, tried to charge for extra 4 drinks we didn't even have. Manager didn't seem to care, more interested in chatting up drunk ladies. Wouldn't take any money off bill when we complained.

   We had a fantastic time in here over the weekend for a retirement do and whilst visiting family. The drinks were perfect, well prepared with expert service behind the bar from staff who were friendly and offered great advice on what went with what. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend whether for a quick visit or a longer evening in. We'll be back!
