   Mate all I have to say is very poor quality of food and the customer service is nonexistent and my order was wrong like super wrong and while eating I’m feeling sick and my belly hurt (asked for a simple salt and vinegar on my chip and they even forgot to do that )

   Ordered from Uber eats 30th July, usually food is really good, this time it was awful. Ordered large cod that looked like it had been left out all day, have since had food poisoning, so must have been off. We won’t be ordering from here again.

   Regarding Perfect Plaice, unfortunately I am here with another disappointing review, I'm afraid the food wasn't fantastic, we recently moved nearby in some brand new flats, we decided that perhaps some fish and chips would be a good idea as you were nearby. So we ventured to the "Perfect Plaice" assuming fish and chips were a good idea. We both agreed we would have a large Cod each, alongside a cone of chips (as we aren't chip loving people) and a pot of curry sauce. As we entered the shop, there was a bit of a wait, they looked extremely busy. So I said to my partner, they must be pretty good, they're very busy. We waited to be served then waited a little more for our food. £6.75 for the fish, thought good price good fish right? Unfortunately this wasn't the case. We got back home and unwrapped the food, thinking mmmmmm, delicious. Then we took a bite, the fish was pretty fresh, still flapping on my plate, it seemed to be under cooked. As we all know that's not great, not even an enjoyable texture. Fish jelly come to mind, then again would of probably tasted better. At £6.75 each, was a bit of a shock, so we ate the batter as that was edible. We then tried the chips, they were average but hey! What can you expect? The curry sauce was bland, didn't really taste of much, the oil on the fish tasted more than the curry sauce. It was extremely greasy, but was probably the best part of the food. Overall, not a great Plaice afterall, maybe it's because they're busy, I'm not sure what the reason would be. Wouldn't recommend.

   One of my local takeaway Fish & Chip shops, good quality food and a delivery service if you require. My preferred chippy for that Friday night chippy tea.

   Ordered from here and also collected. Never had an issue after dozens of orders so can’t understand when people leave a 1 star review for missing a portion of chips. Which again nothing has ever been missing for me so must be an odd occurrence. The food is lovely!

   Should be renamed Not so Perfect Plaice. Appalling service, we were first time customers but won't be back & will be recommending people avoid the place. We were walk in Customers & were ignored for 10 minutes, whilst they completed orders. I asked when we would be served & I was told next but still wasn't asked what we want so we walked out & went to Captain Cod on Station Hill, great fish & chips with lovely service, we were even wished a happy new year!
