Absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. Never been before just pulled over when I saw a family eating sat outside. Friendly quick service, will definitely go back xx
Just been in on a Saturday at 4pm for a sausage and chips. The chips are clearly re-heated from yesterday and are completely inedible. I’ll not be returning.
I’ve driven passed a few times now and thought this looks like a gem. It did not disappoint. Both fish and the chips were fantastic. I ate them whilst watching my mates play cricket up the road vs Shadwell CC. Side note. Awesome location if you are a heading home after golf at Leeds Wike Ridge or Moor Allerton GC.
Tried this place for the first time last week, fish was freshly cooked and good size with a generous portion of chips. Bread cakes were large!
Had Special and Chips last night. Fantastic is an inadequate word. 'Beyond amazing' is almost getting there. Get in.
Amazing food Fish and chips were the best we had in ages . Bread cakes were fresh and fluffy . Great shop best in Leeds without a doubt .
Was very disappointed with the fish and chips I bought from the Village fish and chip shop. Normally I find their food very tasty but this last one was terrible, I ended up throwing over half of the portion of chips in the bin they were unedible. The fish wasn't that much better. I will think twice before buying from there again. To rub salt into the wound the price of the fish and chips has been increased substantially.
Been meaning to write this for ages. We're lucky to have such an amazing chippy in the village. Been using the place for 2 years now, a couple of times a month. We have never once had a problem with anything on the menu. I particularly love the scampi. Keep up the good work.
The worst fish and chips I have ever had. If I could give zero stars I would. £25 for small, stale fish. The smell should have alerted us to their taste as our house reeked as soon as we unpacked the food. The chips were not cooked freshly, and was given chips which had been cooked previously. The overcooked fish cake had barely any fish in it and was very dry. The mushy peas were the worst…..they smelled absolutely foul and tasted even worse. I will not go back.
