Lovely breakfast treat eating outside in the sunshine with family at Gray's. Great coffee, hot chocolates and tea and amazing breakfasts! The staff were super friendly and happy to accommodate grandparents' alternative orders, no fuss at all. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely cinnamon matcha and pumpkin latte, but I wouldn’t recommend the vegetarian sausage roll as it was very very dry and basically became crumbs:( £17.50 (2 drinks 2 sausage rolls) The tables weren’t being wiped down which was a shame but the staff were very lovely!!! Update based on response: I leave a lot of 5* reviews, to almost every place I go to be honest. I love leaving positive reviews. I don’t think it’s fair to say, had I asked for a refund, the issue would be resolved. I am not going to strongly recommend and encourage people to go somewhere where the food was bad under the premise that, if they complain, they might get a refund. I don’t ask for refunds, I have worked for years in restaurants and it wastes staff time and is rude. What is not rude, is leaving a 3* review, saying the staff were lovely and the drinks were okay, but the food was not and the table was dirty, which we waited for for 10 minutes. We did not just ‘ignore the sign’, as you hoped, we were seated upstairs lol. It is not unfair on a business to leave both positive and constructive feedback. get a grip? learn from it?

On arrival this place was very popular. Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat inside so we sat at the front on the high street. No issue though the service was great and we were well looked after. Coffee was incredible. I ordered a full English breakfast. I couldn't give this 5 star for food because there is better out there and it was on the expensive side. 1 sausage and 1 egg just wasn't enough. The toast was a bit solid and the mushrooms were a bit soggy. But overall it wasn't terrible. As a lover of breakfast If I returned here I would probably order something different that wasn't as expensive but had the better parts of a full english breakfast in it. As the sausage and bacon were simply lovely.

Honestly don’t have enough good words to say about Gray’s. The food, the coffee, the staff, the atmosphere… just everything is SO lovely. We are always so welcomed when we arrive, and the amazing team (that create the best food and drinks) can’t do enough for you. Also recently loving their hot honey hash browns and bobby dazzler specials! Best café in Rothwell, by far.

Had been wanting to go to Grays for months after spotting their instagram. Drove the 25mins for brunch the first time I went, but they stop serving breakfast at 12 so had lunch instead (my own fault I should've checked!). The specials were amazing and one of my friends just had a giant sausage roll which was super tasty. Missing breakfast gave me an excuse to go back again - so I did a couple weeks later, and it did not disappoint. Always have a great cake selection, good coffee and it's worth the wait if you can't get a table immediately. If you don't want to wait, grab a cake to go - the park is only a short walk away with plenty of benches.

Cheese or meats board or a combo of your choice is offered together with a limited wine list but the wines were very good. All the food is sourced within the UK and were all excellent. The boards come with salad and grapes plus plenty of crackers and a piece of sourdough bread. The staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine and are extremely attentive to their customers. I would recommend booking as it is a busy restaurant. Though not having any thing sweet the cakes and desserts looked top quality. A great place to while away a couple of hours.

Often spend most of Saturday here with a friend, only leaving when the chairs are getting stacked. So the natural choice for my baby shower was here. There is such a lovely atmosphere and everyone is really friendly the food is also delicious (highly recommend the scones). Having a private function is even better the team are great they are there when you need them but busy in the background so you don't feel overlooked . Never had a bad time at this place!

Food is always top notch, freshly cooked, served hot and efficiently. Cakes are gorgeous!! Staff are friendly and attentive, it's clear that they have a strong team. We love coming here for lunch, the atmosphere is great- even down to the choice of music. Definitely the best eating establishment in Rothwell- and it's doggy friendly, bonus!!

I have been following this place on Instagram for a while & finally got around to visiting a few weeks ago with my parents & son. We had a lovely time, staff were gracious & I personally watched the two chef’s create each dish with care on one of the hottest days & everything that left the kitchen looked delicious! Our food came quickly & was a real treat. My parents said they particularly enjoyed the coffee! Will definitely be back for tea & cake in the future
