We chose the lupset as our Xmas party venue, the festive menu sounded perfect, something for everyone. We had the 3 course meal and stayed for drinks too. Each dish was amazing, tasty and hot. The staff went above and beyond for us. Would definitely go again 5*
Wow, just had the most amazing Sunday Lunch at The Lupset, the gravy was the best I’d ever tasted and the Belly Pork melted in my mouth. Great portion sizes and even better value for money. There’s nothing budget about the quality here, I will definitely be trying again!
If I could give zero stars, I would. The service on Tuesday evening was completely disorganized, and the manager seemed to have lost control. I ordered fish and chips, but what I received was disappointing—much smaller and far less appetizing than what I had just a few days prior. When I raised my concern with the manager, he insisted that this was the standard portion, even though my previous order had been noticeably better. A waitress later came to apologise, which I appreciated, as I understand that kitchens can sometimes get overwhelmed. However, when I asked if a small goodwill gesture, like a pint, could help resolve the issue, the waitress agreed—but the manager refused, seemingly more focused on proving a point than addressing the customer’s concern. It’s a shame because we only recently discovered this place, and it’s so close to home. We were hoping to become regulars, but after this experience, we won’t be returning
Lovely pub to.go to, nothing like it used to be Food is great here the staff is lovely too, atmosphere is lovely too great for families aswel. Please give this place a try if you haven't already you will not be disappointed.
Friendly service , food was just ok and reasonably priced subscribe to the pubs website and get 20 % back on everything you purchase everytime , drinks & food.
A little hiccup with my order been delayed due to a technical problem with the till when the food did arrive it was fabulous and the staff was so apologetic. Will definitely be returning
Fab sausage n mash with onion gravy! I was stuffed, will be visiting again and they even welcomed my dog
Feels like a good local pub. Friendly staff, good choice of lagers and beer. Reasonably priced too. No food on at the moment, but that won't be long, we hope! When food does arrive, hopefully they'll have gluten free, veggie, and vegan options. Dog friendly too!
I wouldn't recommend this at all £12.99 for the 8 chips a centimeter of pastry and a bowl full of charcoal (see attached image). Wait times are outrageous and all the sides that are supposed to come with your dish are out of stock no mash no nann bread. The temperature is also freezing I think they forgot to add radiators with the new revamp not to mention the horrible smell you are greeted with when you enter. Don't bother just go somewhere else.
