Food was fantastic. Very generous portions. They gave extra food and listened to our requests. Will definitely order again. Couldn’t recommend a better place for an Indian takeaway.
Best curries ever, they always give me extra mint sauces
After they forgot our nan bread they made a special journey to bring us a fresh one great service ,great food
They don’t care about their regulars as I have waited over 2 hours for me curry today and 3 hours for my curry on Christmas Eve. Thought I would give them a second chance and again the guy answers the phone not too fussed. Saying it’s still being made, I live 5 min drive down the road and used it regular before this. I got given a can of coke for the 3 hours wait a can of coke!! Still currently waiting on my food tonight. They don’t update their just eat programme to keep the customers in check either. Would stay away if you are hungry and want a curry within an hour and a half :)
I'm not one to post reviews but I felt I needed to after the exceptional customer experience I had. The food is always amazing from here. I am a creature of habit...tandoori king prawn starter with chicken tikka masala and vegetable pilau rice. And all of the above is so so good hence if I want a Indian meal I always go here. The one and only time I received my delivery order and with my starter only received 2 x King prawn and my main was cold I phoned the shop and spoke to the manager. He was so apologetic and promised on my next order he would give me a free tandoori king starter...which is not cheap. True to his word next time I placed a delivery order he phoned me directly to say that he was honouring his word with an additional king prawn starter. And he did! Amazing food and amazing customer service. U will not be disappointed if u order from balti pickles and like me you will return time and time again. Kirstt
Today I received a meal from the takeaway and it was delicious and tasty have had before my wife enjoyed her chicken tikka masala and the byrani wast nice and spicy as I ordered would recommend
We love this curry house although the last 2 times we have ordered a delivery we have wanted over 2 hours we ordered on tonight at 6.20 and we still have not recived it so we will no longer be using this curry house you dont expect to wait 2 hours plus for a curry its disgusting
We ordered Murghi Mossomon, Dakeshwari Murghi, Saag aloo, mushroom rice, everything was delicious! We ordered 5 poppadoms, they gave us 10 and extra mint yogurt and onion salad. Definitely will order from there again!

1st experience of Balti Pickles was disappointing food. My wife went to order the food from the shop and arranged to deliver at 19.30. We ordered the set meal for 1 and tandoori chicken. The set meal for 1 consists of poppadom, onion salad & mint sauce. Sheek kebab starter and chicken tikka massala main, Pilau rice or keema naan. poppadoms and sheek kebab where fine but the chicken tikka massala was extremely sweet no spice flavouring very bland and has 3 chunks of chicken in it. We ordered a keema naan which there was no sign of and ended up with pilau rice. Tandoori chicken should have been half a chicken as pictured on the front of there menu served with salad got 2 chicken legs and absolutely no salad what so ever. Was expecting an onion bhaji as the order was over £15 as stated on there menu, not received. The driver that delivered the food was pleasant enough but was looking for payment but my wife had all ready paid at the shop on order, total lack of communication. Food was ordered for 19.30 and turned up at 19.45 after a call to the shop. First and the last time we will be visiting Balti Pickles.
