   Asked if I could pay with Scottish notes to which they agreed no problem at all. Shortly after when leaving I was stopped and they told me to pay by card. Absolutely shocking. If any of you travel to Scotland don’t bring your English money up there which gets accepted all the time. There was absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t accept it.

   Spent evening in Lichfield. Went to Lalbagh and had an incredible experience. Staff very polite and attentive, food was excellent. The hot plate trolley before food being placed on your table was a great touch. The ambience was really good. I am 62 years old and eaten at many indian restaurants. This i believe is the best i have been to. Cannot fault any aspect of my visit. Would certainly recommend this restaurant. Mick and Maria Northampton 13 Nov 2025.

   This is a top notch restaurant offering an extensive menu. As a keen fan of Indian food you won't find its equal especially at these prices. Service is slick even when busy and there's always the extra touch to ensure food is well-presented and piping hot. Your custom is valued and there are some pleasant and agreeable touches to entice you back. Can't imagine being disappointed here.

   We order from here all the time, never been disappointed. Most my family have eaten in the restaurant and have always been happy. Something I have yet to do will definitely put this right next year. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal and is new to the area.

   Had a works reunion here today, wow what can I say.. absolutely amazing food chicken very tender and juicy not dry like the other places you eat. Staff were very friendly and great service all round. Definitely come back in the future great place and food.

   Excellent service and food! Whilst the restaurant was busy, this did not impact on great, friendly customer service. Serves alcohol also as many curry houses you do bring your own.
