I always go here when at Batley Mills. Had various dishes and snacks but now get the Pie of the Day with veg and lovely gravy. It comes with chips but I ask for no chips as too much. It is always piping hot and really tasty. Never too busy and staff friendly.
Apologies but we bought the breakfast unfortunately the Sausages just tasted cheap. Tomato was just a warmed up Sliced tomato, the mushrooms were just out of a tin and not very warm. The brown sauce was horrible. The bacon tasted past its best, The rest was just Underwhelming

It was the first time of visiting and won't go again the salad served with my quiche was black, they must have seen it but still served it to me. When I told a member of staff they were totally not interested, I always trusted that the good name of Massarellas meant quality but looks like it's not.
It's better now, I can get gluten free cake and it's near the lift and toilets.
We had the all day breakfast. Very disappointing. I really don't think it was cooked fresh. The sausage was like leather on the outside. And spongy on the inside. It had either been recooked or microwaved to reheat. The bacon was like cardboard. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the mushrooms were delicious. Disappointed it didn't come with toast. Should have gone to wetherspoons
Had a latte which was tiny extremely bitter barely warm & well overpriced. Scone was dry gaggy & left a taste of baking powder. Disappointing & will try one of the other cafes on the premises in future
