   After the family came down with illness the last months we’ve taken a break from big takeaways and tried to live a little more basic, maybe having the odd pizza or so. However tonight we couldn’t resist having our old favourite chase balti. Oh wow we have been missing out, and we’ve vowed not to take such a break again! (Only a month or so but for us that is highly irregular) You can’t get a better tasting Indian in burntwood and tonight has proved it! Absolutely delicious, every mouthful a taste sensation! Succulent king prawns in a thick spicy madras sauce and the tastiest paneer shashlik. All other dishes superb too everyone was super happy, thank you guys for reminding us what good food is!! Looking forward to the next one now!

   Chase Balti used to be my go to but the past few times I have been there I can’t help but feel disappointed by the food. The curry has been really thin and watery and the paneer in the curry is not even grilled. It’s like it is has just been cut up and chucked in cold. The curry has also lacked flavour and tastes like tomato soup. The paneer pakora is nice though. Also they sometimes forget things that come with the starters like yoghurt etc.

   Ordered mix grill and the tandoori salmon honestly was the worst I have ever had in my life the food is not seasoned at all like it’s cooked with no salt whatsoever and was swimming in flavourless oil I don’t know if they think just because it’s a majority white are they don’t have to season there food and nobody will care well any way I will definitely never order from there again

   We found these guy when we moved to burntwood in 2002. They quickly became out favourite take away. Regularly having food from them when our kids came along. Then the meals started getting worse we complained several times but then one meal came that was so salty I couldn't eat it and it had a grainy texture. So we stopped. Then several years later after we moved the owner came round with menus in our street. He recognised my cars and nocked the door. Had a conversation with him and explained what happend as it was a regular £30 order some times twice a week. He convinced us to give them a try again. And we did. The 1st 2 meals were superb. Then mistakes on the next 2 which were corrected. However the last meal we had a while ago they charged us £17 for a curry dish. They said its because it was a special. It was a chicken pasanda. Pasanda was on their menu but just not with chicken. Eventually they gave us back the £17 after big arguments on the phone. Sadly we won't ever go back to them after that.

   Decided to try new curry house and excited with menu options. Opted for delivery. Very disappointed when we have a phone call 1hour and 20mins later to say it's going to be another 25mins but disgusted when the member of staff thought it ok to say "you want your fish raw then" with a dreadful attitude when asked why it is taking so long. I'm not sure where they getting this fish from but doesn't take 1 and 3/4 hours to cook one. Shame.
