Chandani Chowk is one of our favourites. We had dinner there and ordered dal makhani with garlic naan and other starters. The food was rich, comforting, and had a proper homely Punjabi taste. The place has a warm, familiar feel, and being around Punjabi people just makes the experience better. Simple, satisfying food done right.

The food was delicious and served hot, which made the experience even better. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were rich without being overpowering. The portion size was generous and good value for money. The presentation was simple but attractive. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and I would recommend this place to others.

Omg I came to Birmingham from Bristol just for this! Food was soooo good! Fresh ingredients! Large portions! Amazingly reasonable price! The service is so hospitable! I feel so welcoming and comfortable there. The restaurant is clean and spacious, got lots of table if you coming as a group. Looking forward to going back here again!

I recently visited the this restaurant and tried their Chhole Kulche as well as the fixed vegetarian thali. The thali was nicely presented and included roti, a portion of sabji, rice, dal, a sweet treat in the form of gulab jamun, and a side of salad. The flavors were quite satisfying overall, though I did find the sabji a little on the salty side. However, the freshly prepared paratha stood outβ€”it was served warm and soft, which made the meal feel even more homely. The service was polite and helpful, though it seemed that they might need a few extra staff members. At one point, we had to wait about 5–10 minutes before someone came to take an additional order, which slightly slowed down the experience. That said, once attended to, the staff made sure everything was served properly. The seating area is quite spacious and comfortable, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a relaxed environment. Considering the quality of food, portion size, and the overall atmosphere, it’s definitely a good spot for authentic vegetarian Indian food. With a little improvement in staffing, this place could be excellent.

Worst experience, not sure why people are going there to eat. Visited this place after 45 minutes drive and found pathetic hospitality, unprofessional staff, ok quality food. First of all you have to guess which table is about finish and stand near the table to grab the seat. Once you successful to grab the seat, then approach to receptionist/ waiter/cook (one lady is doing all job) to request to clean the table. Definitely you will get the answer, wait (with rude face, definitely with no please) Now you can choose your food and once your selection done, then you have to approach to reception for place order. We ordered few starter snacks like Samosa and Tikki channa chat along with main course breads and curries. After giving order we got our first item after 25 minutes and next item after another 10 minutes, because their first priority is for take away or deliveries. We got our tikki chat while we were finishing our main course, when we ask why it’s delay it should be part of starter, no response, she put on table and gone. I am sorry to say, I never seen this kind of unprofessional behavior in service industry. Food is Ok quality not great, Garlic Nan half backed, thick corners, you can only find garlic and butter in center of Nan, corners will give you plain nan feel. Overall not a place where you can have food with respect.

Food is amazing and worth the money. We had mutter paneer and garlic naan and channa batoora. Tasty and worthy every money. Polite and superb service. 2 people very co comfortably eat for under 20 pounds. There is also dosa chat golgabba available outside and everything is 2.50 pounds and you pay them separately. Clean and and people friendly. Appear little cramped due to many tables and chairs. Ambiance could be better.

Food was good but tandoori roti was not good. It was v chewy and difficult to eat. Otherwise ok. Madras chicken was basically saag chicken. So just above average food .

Food was ok. We had pani puri it was alright but not the best. Tikki Chaat had hard pattice and chana thsts it And chhole puri Ok as well. It’s very clean place. Seemed busy and family running business. Agaraaa ka petha was so fresh and so good. Sweets are really really good and 100% recommendable. All the staff were so nice and helpful so thank you❀️

Most Unwelcoming ! Barrier inside so you can’t grab a seat to eat. Veg thali was Β£9.95 the portion size is what you see in the attached picture. So called green salad as you see on small plate is Β£2.50. This place used to be packed with visitors but now only couple of people were sat inside during busy lunch hour ! I am sure this place will close down soon due to its miserable management & services. Not visiting here again for sure ! Would not recommend at all. Waste of your money and time.
