Visited 1st time since Management change. What a difference. All the regular older crowd gone!! The lovely friendly community atmosphere gone. Apartently the older people don't drink enough. So loud drunken yobs let loose who spend more money. Profit over people rules. Not be visiting again. Such a shame when certain nights are well established and you get a community atmosphere going where customers feel valued and safe for it just to be discarded over profit.

We have our Oakwood 62 meeting there every 4 weeks on a Wednesday, always a good meet does get noisy not a pub for a quiet drink.

As a registered disabled person who often needs access to a toilet quickly, I found myself in need of such facilities. I entered the pleasant pub and spoke with the bartender. She kindly showed me to the disabled toilet which was much appreciated. I did not have time to stay for food or a drink, so thanked her before leaving. Such a kind welcoming person is lovely to find these days especially and for this I would highly recommend The Stag Inn, Rotherham.

We came in as a group of 7 (and a half, our three year old was with us) The drinks were well made and the staff were incredibly friendly! They were chatty and really well humoured, they made our drinks quickly and were all in a great mood. (Granted, it wasn’t super busy so they could focus on us a little more, but we were still treated brilliantly. I can’t remember the two girls names who were on the bar but you know who you are! Thank you both.) We were politely reminded that our little one wouldn’t be allowed in past 8 o’clock. When it reached 8, they gently reminded us rather than ordering us to drink up and get out. It was all very personal and welcoming.

Nice pub with good atmosphere. Its a dog friendly pub but they shouldn't be allowed to sit on chairs

Great pub with a wide selection of drinks. Plenty of tvs to watch all the sports from darts to boxing. Lovely beer garden and is dog friendly. I'm loving all the new features that have been put in.

Great, friendly and welcoming pub that has a heart and soul of of its own. Offers quiz nights, karaoke, payday discos & jukebox, huge beer garden . Dogs are welcome (there's even a treat for them) Reasonably priced, top bar staff. You'll not be disappointed.
