    We were looking for somewhere nice to stop for lunch, after a long motorway journey from London. Bolsover is a lovely market town, less than ten minutes drive from the M1. Quaint tea shop with a range of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and hot food. Best option for food in Bolsover.

    Soup was outstanding,coffee lovely and quiche was good,but then the panini came with hardly any cheese in a cheese and panini sandwich,really disappointing.Very busy so I can only assume it was an oversight but it spoilt what should of been a great meal.

    Lovely cafe, great friendly service with a welcome as soon as you get through the door. All the ladies served with a smile and provided a treat for my dog. All tables were spotless and were cleaned as soon as any customers left. Had the Pump breakfast which was really tasty, and treated myself to a cake from the extensive choice. Will definitely be back

    The pump is such a wonderful place to eat in. The staff are lovely, so polite and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is delicious. A good choice on the menu and a good portion size given. The cakes are homemade and so yummy. I will definately keep visiting this great little tearooms.
