   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 “A meal with heart behind it!” I ordered from Simla Restaurant through Just Eat and was genuinely amazed by the experience. The food was not only delicious and freshly prepared, but what truly stood out was the personal touch that came with it. From the thoughtful packaging to the warm note tucked inside, it felt like more than just a takeaway — it felt like someone cared about making my evening special. The flavours were authentic, portions generous, and everything arrived piping hot.    We decided to try Simla for a takeaway after seeing it recommended on a local Facebook group. Pros: the food arrived quickly, was hot in temperature and came with free poppadoms and dips. Cons: my Murghi Masala tasted of pure sugar, nothing else. It just wasn’t pleasant at all, the sweetness likeable to sweet & sour chicken from a Chinese. With my saag paneer, the flavours were just not there. My partner ordered Rogan Josh (which was better), with the okra and Dahl dishes on the side, the latter two sadly lacking in flavour again. Sorry wouldn’t recommend.

   One of the best curries I've had in a long time! They sent it really quick. If you order in Deliveroo make sure to ignore the 30 min delivery time. It's not possible to make the food and deliver in that time especially during busy times on weekends. They gave us extra items. Thank you very much. Will come back!

   We ordered a chicken Tikka Starter, Lamb Tikka starter, Tikka Lamb Chops, Lamb Sheekh starter and some chapati. However, It seems to be that every starter is absolutely dowsed in some kind of semi mild tasteless sauce - almost like BBQ sauce that didn’t taste like Tikka in the absolute slightest. Absolutely disgusting. The lamb was absolutely rock hard to the point it took me about 5 mins to chew one bite. The whole experience was tasteless and a disaster. Won’t be returning. You need to look at how Indian Establishments such as spice empire in Cleobury Mortimer or the king of grills - Soho Tavern cook their food because I’ve spent the best part of £40 and it tastes like absolute garbage.

   SIMLA never fails me. Impeccable food, reasonable portion sizes and always quick. They have upped their prices and stopped the 15% reduction if you collect for cash, which is dissappinting. Probably cheaper to order through UBER EATS with a discount code. All in all, good service and tasty food, however will get delivered next time.

   We've been having takeaways from Simla for over a year now, and can honestly say that every meal ordered has been delicious. Portions are generous - so generous that we sometimes cannot eat it all and have the leftovers the day after. Only once was there an item missing, but they delivered that within minutes. We order online and are generally given a waiting time of 60 minutes, but delivery is quite often quicker than that. Highly recommended!

   Orderd food 8pm now 22.45 and still not arrived poor service all they guy says is sorry then hangs up writing this review before food has arrived as my mrs has gone past the hungry stage and now tired . Will either hand food to Homless tonight or refuse the order wen it comes if it ever turns up. This place used to be good somthing gone rong . Service down hill. I refuse to eat from this place but my partner doesn’t like Chinese so that’s why orderd Indian for her. I order my Chinese at the same time and it arrived 45 min later I’ve eaten she is sittin ther no food and litterly a joke of a time to wait . Will never order from here again .

   This a good takeaway. They do self proclaim this to be the 6th best Indian food takeaway in the whole of the UK! Wow, high expectations then. In all honesty, this is a bit of a stretch of the imagination and something of a reach to say the least. It's good, but not exceptional. They let you look in the kitchen and you will see big gravy pots, so generic sauces. Any take away that uses large base sauces cannot qualify to be the best of anything really
