One of the finest eateries in the North West. Their Rat & Roach Munch Box comes with the tastiest rat burger and cockroach wings I’ve ever had and the Munch Special comes with free diarrhoea and food poisoning. Definitely worth a visit !
A takeaway restaurant has closed after food inspectors found what appeared to be a deep fried rat in the kitchen. The Mexicano Food Box also had a cockroach infestation, as well as a "poor state of cleanliness". Following the discovery the establishment agreed to shut down in order to carry out a deep clean. Pictures from the establishment also show an infestation of cockroaches, as well as a filthy, grease-covered kitchen.
Like some previous reviewers have stated avoid as yes a fried rat was found, cockroaches and dirty appliances. They may have taken steps to improve but I wouldn't risk it.
After reading what iv just read in the internet I would avoid this place like the plague. Inspectors found a deep fried rat and contaminated food, dirty food storage and fridges. If you don't mind food poisoning then this is the place for you, the people couldn't run a bath never mind a takeaway
Honestly, if I could give zero stars I’d happily do so. The worst pizza ever, I’d have been better getting a frozen pizza from the supermarket. The dough under the topping was completely raw, almost translucent as well as the underneath. By far the most anemic pizza I’ve had the displeasure of. I got the cheese and tomato, but they couldn’t even get this right. One bite taken and thrown in the bin. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of money. Horrible
the service is so unacceptable from the staff the thing is the food is good but when u dont receive something or something is wrong its like speak no English its a joke wont be ordering again aslo was charged or somthing u dint get and they said i dint order the item wouldn't recommend this takaway
Won't be ordering again! I ordered the chicken noodles with sweet chilli sauce and couple of hours later I was being sick and having bowel movements, to put it politely. Would not recommend! Think it was old chicken or maybe chicken that had been reheated!
Brilliant food every time I've ordered. Am never disappointed about anything I buy from here. An brilliant staff as always.
Ordered crispy shrimp noodles. The shrimp were TINY. Even the smart price asda prawns are bigger. And even then hardly any shrimp in my noodles. All I had was sweet overboiled noodles drowned in sauce. Really disappointed
The gentleman made a mistake in my order but then made the correct order as well. Really appreciate such hospitality. My 5 stars for that attitude and behavior itself. And, I would give another 5 for the food. Was like comfort food. Definitely recommend and looking forward to ordering here again.
