This is a review solely on the food and drinks, we didn’t stay in the hotel. We booked a table and was a bit surprised that they had put us shoulder to shoulder with another booking, so we may aswell have been out with this other party. So we pulled them apart to give us both more privacy, all the other tables had reserved signs on but not ours. I ordered a half dark fruits and she gave me a pint, ordered cocktails and didn’t get the sweets included which i could see on the bar (I know trivial but if it’s on the menu it’s worth noting) I had the Philly thrill burger which is a beef burger with steak cutlets and melted cheese, I’m sorry to say it was bland. The burger and cheese sauce had no flavour it was very odd. All I could taste was the lettuce. I ordered it medium but it was incredibly chewy I had to take off the steak and eat it separately. The burger was messy there was more cheese sauce on my plate than on the burger (photo included) but I had the biscoff cheesecake after and that was stunning. Really enjoyed the pud. I would come back but I’ll be ordering something else. Staff were pleasant no issues there.

I've been staying here for a while now, what a great place to get a room or just call in for a drink and have a meal. Live sports on if thats your thing. All the staff are really nice friendly and helpful. Some rooms could do with a little update but they are clean tidy and warm. This is my Go to place when we are working in Rotherham.

It's very good here, rooms are spacious and warm, with a bath and shower. Also a hearty breakfast is served in mornings, which is very good. Real ale is served here too. Food is very good , staff are polite and helpful too. I also like that they support a charity Macmillan Cancer, which is very good of them.

Amazing pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Food is 10/10 and because we were staying in the accommodation (and booked online) we got 20% off. Was beautiful. Very happy with the food. And the service is top tier. Would love to come back x

Came in here with my uncle Steven to have a bite to eat. Morley our server was phenomenal, she was so friendly and helpful. The manager on shift was really helpful with getting me somewhere comfortable for my wheelchair to go. Food was outstanding the short rib was falling off the bone. There were three chefs at our table and all three of us were very happy. The price was basically unbeatable for that quality. I looked into the hotel rooms and they're really reasonably priced, and you get 10% off food at the bar which is amazing. 1000% will be coming back here when we're next in town.

Waitress managed to find a table for us after we had waited 15 minutes. A lot of people had booked so we were lucky to get one. She was very attentive helpful. The food was excellent and we presented. I can recommend it to everyone

The staff were exceptional. I was called by the manager Jo who explained there was a slight issue with my booked room, so she made me aware that they would put me in another room. The hotel is situated just up the road from the centre of town so is in a very convenient location. The hotel is attached to a pub restaurant which serves typical pub chain fare, which is great value for money and the portion sizes are excellent. I had hunters chicken with chips and a chocolate fudge cake, which saw me right. The room I was given was of reasonable size, clean and comfortable. I did have a breakfast and it was marvellous. Cooked as requested and very filling. There are other breakfast items available such as continental and vegetarian options. I cannot stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff are. They are a real credit to The Brentwood, and I enjoyed my stay so much, that I have already booked a return visit in the new year with my wife and kids. I would strongly recommend this place.

Nice selection of drinks, including cocktails. Pleasant atmosphere inside the bar and the food was pretty decent. My only gripe was how long it took to get served. Very few bar staff on.

If you are looking for a stop over or a couple of nights stay in a travel lodge style hotel then the Brent wood would be perfectly comfortable. The room was clean and tidy and bed very comfortable, Can not fault the staff at all! Very welcoming, friendly and helpful so 5 star to the hotel for the type of hotel it is. HOWEVER! If like us you have a1 night in a country inn voucher with virgin and expecting to stay in a hotel that is in a countryside area and something a little bit different or special I would not recommend this Hotel. Just not what we expected.
