Had a family dinner here today and it was my first time going to a south Indian style Indian restaurant. We tried new dishes such as Dosa and Meen Pollichatu which were amazing and also had British classics such as mixed grill and butter chicken. Would absolutely recommend if youre in Rotherham!
I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Neelagiree restaurant with my husband. We indulged in a delicious spread of mutton and beef biryani, chicken lollipop, and special chicken fry as our starter. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with each dish served beautifully and tasting amazing. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured our comfort throughout the meal. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere added to the experience, making it even more enjoyable. Overall, Neelagiree is a great spot for good food and excellent service – I'd definitely recommend it and return again!
Had Chicken Manthi, Chicken Lollipop, and Neelagiri Special Chicken, all were amazing! The taste and flavor were just like eating back home in Kerala. Perfectly cooked, rich in spice, and full of authentic flavor. Friendly staff and quick service too. Easily one of the best Kerala restaurants in the UK.
I had chicken mandi and lollipop from this restaurant, and both were really nice! The flavors were delicious and satisfying. A good place to enjoy tasty food definitely worth a visit.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Great service staff. Ajit the restaurant manager was very friendly and so were the other members of the team. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for looking after us.
Modern and contemporary blended magically with traditional Indian cuisine. Elegance with presentation with the absolute perfect execution of balancing flavours with excellent quality of ingredients. Absolutely delicious food. A very attentive service but enough so that you can enjoy your meal. Will 100% recommend and return
Very delicious Indian food. Not overly greasy + salty like most Indian food I’ve had in UK. Really impressive depth-of-flavor. The lady who was working there was knowledgeable about what is vegan and what isn’t. Many menu items can be made vegan. We got the saag with mushrooms instead of meat + oil instead of ghee, and the dahl with oil instead of ghee. Both were exceptional. Fantastic restaurant.
First visit here but we will definitely return. Our arrival was welcoming as were all the staff we met. We thought the specials section limited and the ingredients of the main dishes under-described but all other aspects of the meal was great. The food was freshly prepared from the pickle tray to the main course. That in itself means a lot to our palates. The two rice dishes were lovely aromatic and fluffy and our meat dishes were superb. The restaurant atmosphere was authentic and relaxing and our overall experience was fabulous.
Had my food from here on the 5th of August. Hands down one of the Best Dosa Sambar in South Yorkshire. Even the Chettinad Chicken Strip was really good. Would recommend to anyone craving some South Indian dish here in the UK.
Always a good food experience, never failed to disappoint. We had masala and cheese Dosa which is not on the menu but the Chef always delivers on customer request, along with garlic naan, pilau rice and butter paneer. It was all delicious!
