Food always always arrives late and very cold. They dont seem to be very good fryers as the batter mix on the fish is just nasty and undercooked. The staff are rude obnoxious and unhelpful/very common and chav like. THEY don't know the first thing about customer service Avoid Avoid AVOID
Peas, no actual words. Fish, I can still taste the bitter disappointment.... I was looking forward to eating some fish with mushy peas. Sadly I didn't eat it. Batter, at some point consider taking it out of the fryer, preferably before the old fat soaks through and destroys every part of the food. Not eaten from a chip shop since lockdown started and I would like to thank you for making sure I don't go again.
Portions were so small, we were still hungry after eating. My partner ordered a half pounder mega chicken burger. Came the size of a McDonald's mayo chicken sandwich, hash brown bites, instead of an actual hash brown. Too expensive for what you get. My fish had way too much batter on and chips were dry. Wouldn't go here if it was the last chippy on earth. Only upside was that it came early, especially during this time, that's a huge positive. Shame that such quick service meant that the quality of the food was poor.
Went here after work feeling hungry, first time ever tried them. The very last time! The batter was yellow and the oil what came out of it was yellow, the chips tasted like dirty fat and the chips had black eyes in them. Fish cake was disgusting... got a bread cake to enjoy my fish cake on, think she cut that with her fingers to a bent knife. Wouldn’t be going back! You’ve been warned... can’t wait to get home to wash the stink off me
