Just ordered from this place on uber eats, I got a mixed grill with rice. Super fresh and generous portion, enough for me to make 2 meals our of it! I dont usually give rating to takeaway but this was really great,and I love the option to customise the salad side!
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from Charcoal Grill. I found an actual nail inside my wrap, completely unacceptable and dangerous. This is a serious food safety issue that could have caused real harm. I expected much better standards, and after this experience, I won’t be ordering again. Please see attached evidence
I ordered a chicken tikka wrap meal at only £6 and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The bread was fresh, salad crunchy and sauces spot on. The two things that lower the score for me is the heat of the venue and lack of cushioning on the wooden chairs (yes I’m getting old)! It was super hot inside but then on the plus side….the open kitchen allowed you to watch your food being cooked….a small price to pay! The staff were polite and helpful and the venue was clean and tidy. Alhamdulillah
I recently visited Darnall Charcoal Grill and had a really good experience overall. If you’re into smoky, flavour-packed grilled meats, this place hits the spot! The chicken shawarma and lamb chops were absolutely delicious — juicy, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection. The naan bread was soft and fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. You definitely get value for your money here. The staff were polite and helpful, even during a busy evening. The service was fairly quick considering the number of orders going out, especially for takeaway. The seating area is decent, but it’s more of a casual spot than a dine-in restaurant. If you’re looking for a place to chill with friends over some hot grilled food, it works well. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that parking around the area can be a bit tricky, and the dine-in atmosphere could use a bit of a refresh. But for the food alone, it’s definitely worth a visit. Would recommend it for: late-night cravings, casual meals, and meat lovers!
The best kebab place in Darnall. Free soup. Reasonable prices and tasty kebabs. Easy to get to.
Only dissapointing thing about the food was I didn't take a pic before I finished the meal lol tried this place for the first time and loved the food. Great value for money and I think the gents name was Carwan or Arwan, went out of his way to give a great experience! Deffo be back!
The best value you can get. We had chicken shawarma with rice, it comes with salad, nan bread, sauce as well. It's all great amount and everything is tasty.
Food was prepared quickly and the brothers were very hospitable and friendly. Food was also good too, went for the Darnall special and was very good! Will be coming here more regularly on my lunch breaks
