We are here twice in our long weekend. Fabulous food, place and most of all great staff. With it's location it would make a fortune being mediocre but everything was top. The Sunday roast and the special game pudding we're particular highlights.
Such lovely views and vibes here. The lady who served us was dead lovely! Lots of people sat with their dogs outside and the service was fast!!
Went here twice near Christmas, the first time for a work do where we had their set menu (£30 per person) and then again to treat myself for my birthday. Both times the service was amazing, I hadn't booked the second time around and the servers were very helpful in checking if there was anywhere available upstairs for seating me to use (there was). The food here is INCREDIBLE and the interior of the building is beautiful, the only reason I've put 4 stars for the atmosphere is due to how loud it can get in their, due to it being a pub with an open stairwell space, meaning noise from the bar patrons can travel directly upstairs. Other than that the atmosphere is really amazing. I'll definitely be going back again, just for that panini with the red pesto alone! yum!
Being a couple of times. The food is lovely and presented so nicely. staff are normally attentive to my needs and helps me. I will definitely be visiting again.
Slightly overpriced. Very busy, would recommend to book in advance. Service excellent. Table water offered and refilled. Food excellent. Fixtures and fittings need attention. Some light fittings were hanging loose. Unisex toilets, only two upstairs and one had a broken lock. No Bluelight or NHS discounts. Not in a rush to go back.
The upstairs at this place makes it a must visit. Good environment. Great dining experience. Good selection of drinks. Fantastic desserts .. Makes it a great experience for hebdenbridge
Came here a few yesrs ago. Lovely bar serving 9 real ales and one real cider. Had an excellent pint of Pride of Pendle. Lovely airy interior and we got the comfortable Chesterfield seating. Beer terrace to front facing the main road.
Incredible time here. The service was the best we’ve had in a long time, staff were wonderful. Salt and pepper calamari was gorgeous. Loved the fish and chips. Partner said his pork belly was delicious and the lamb was very tasty, his preference is just to have it a bit rarer. Side of broccoli and beans were great too! We went on a Thursday evening and it was nice and quiet and spacious upstairs.
Top notch bar this, whether just popping in for drinks after a walk or a sit down meal, always a warm welcome, food absolutely superb and well priced, and then there's the ale!!! Guaranteed to be a tremendous selection every time you call in, lovely traditional pub with a modern edge to it, dog friendly and really great service and staff, outside area for those that fancy it, I highly recommend this pub.
