Lovely place with fantastic food and service. It’s better to book in advance through messenger or by phoning up. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Burger is Gluten free so will look different to usual burger but great if you have dietary requirements.
We came here today for lunch. This place is a hidden little gem, we absolutely loved our food. Staff were super friendly too. Beautiful views looking over the valley. We will definitely be back here. Highly recommend.
We went for Sunday lunch. Really nice place in a lovely spot, far reaching views. As a vegan it’s always really appreciated when the Sunday roast is adapted so I can have the same as everyone else minus the meat. The veg was perfectly cooked, the nut roast excellent and the gravy brought the whole dish together. Lovely crumble for dessert too. No Yorkshire pudding on the vegan option (fine by me), the picture of the pud and the sticky toffee pudding, was my husband’s food. He was also impressed by having ale in an old fashioned pint mug. Will definitely visit again.
Went here today 25th May as a party of three. Didn’t have a booking called to book in was told no spaces, called back 5 minutes later to confirm booking for us. Was so grateful, staff was really nice and friendly. Food was 10/10 check out the pictures. Highly recommend

I’m really sorry, I wasn’t at this pub so far, but I met the owner on this nice African island holiday on Boa Vista. And if his pub is as nice as it is meeting him, it must be the place to be. I hope I will meet him in his pub one day.
New hosts and a very welcome experience, worth the walk for the beer and craic, the food is a simple menu very well cooked and stands comparison to the established local competition. Happy to recommend!
Had a lovely meal with the family this evening. I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed by the food and service. Absolutely loved it and I hope to be back soon as they are updating the menus... cant wait.
The view up there is amazing. Had a lovely meal tonight with my lass (whom of which is vegan) and her mum. We found the food delightful, vegan menu gets a big thumbs up. Even had a little bit of pud as we were tempted by the vegan cake and ice cream. Would recommend.
