Working in the local area and fancied a chippy, called in with a few of lads! Food was hot and tasted good! Good portions, friendly staff also a good selection on the menu for food and drinks!
Ordered 3 large fish and chips all with large curry sauces. The fish was made to order so lovely and fresh. Chips were not as good unfortunately otherwise I'd of given 5 stars. (Close to closing so maybe different if they were freshly made) The service was quick as could be and friendly. Would recommend if the chips were on par.
i absolutely+ love this place i always have high expectations and i absolutely adore the man that runs it he makes the absolute best fish and chips I've ever had in my entire life please come here and try this amazing delicacy and if you dont like it then you have bad taste in food then dont you?0
Being in to towngate fisheries today and got a beautifully well cooked fish for such a low price 6.50 for a beautiful tradition of fish and chips thanks towngate enjoyed my experience recommend

Update - been again 6 months later. As good as ever. Fresh food, still not greasy and super friendly staff. Slightly more expensive at £5.50 but still worth every penny. If you have a choice of local chippy, choose this one. Fish is super fresh and super tasty. Chips are good too. Not greasy or soggy. Great prices too, £5.20 for fish and chips!
Visited tonight for tea and it was impeccable. The ladies serving were lovely and the food was great. Chips cooked to perfection and the fish was perfect. I will be definitely coming back again for more!
Good fish and chips, have been a few times and always pleased with the quality of the food and freshness, on one occasion the fish was a little bit greasy i.e not drained when came out of the fryer, but they were busy. Will go back again and definitely recommend. Nice and polite staff to.
