The food was absolutely beautiful! Served by Yvonne and Sue who provided excellent service! Will definitely eat here again!
Unable to reply to my husband’s review earlier. My husband was not aggressive or threatening and the first thing he said to the woman behind the counter was “I know it’s not your fault but the food is cold”, the food was cold, it didn’t get returned because it was thrown in the bin, as my husband was asked to leave, I didn’t want to bring it back, threatened with the police, no problem if you feel threatened (absolutely ridiculous though she shouted not him), then threatened that her husband was on his way, amazing customer service from someone in hospitality at Xmas, maybe retraining would be a good idea of how not to treat customers. I was told 6:45 to collect and arrived at 6:33, even if it was done for 6:30, it would not have been cold after 3 minutes of being sat there. Very poor customer service, inedible food. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had! The food was collected 15mins earlier than they told us to collect it,and it was cold when we got it home (not even a minute away) couldn’t even separate the pancakes (duck). We phoned and complained and was told that it couldn’t be cold. So we took some of it back prove it,and the woman accused me of being rude and when I asked how I had been rude I was told to leave and then she threatened to phone the police and get her husband to come and sort me out! Not what you expect!! Please don’t waste your money!!!
Well, been a couple of days that i feel like i wanna eat some chinese food, and why not on a saturday night in a cold rainy day. Sounds good to you ? It sounded good to me! Till i drive to this Chinese take away in Rotherham. After reading a couple of reveiws i got convinced and i decided to order. My order was Fried rice, N31 - Mandarin Special Chow Mein "Not so Special", N103 - Roast duck with green pepper and Black bean sauce. and a N121 Roast pork chop suey. Starting with positives fried rice was ok, and the noodles that came with the Chow Mein was nice and well cooked. The rest was just a REALLY BIG LET DOWN. Duck that was more like chicken imo, the pork and the chicken were lacking seasoning no salt and tasted like a stew warmed up in a microwave, the vegetables were way to big and were almost raw, and lets not talk about all the grease acossiated with the dishes. unfortunely more then half of the food stayed in the plates, i hate to waste food cause there is alot of ppl starving in the world and i only eat it for respect for the products. Dont know how this restaurante is rated 4.5 stars or they changed the cookers or they unlearn how to cook proper chinese delicious food. Not going there any time soon for sure. No fuss Chinese food place with barely a ten minute wait for a moderate size order. Food was overall very good. Prices are fine. One dish was a little salty (we all said this) and the chips were a little overcooked for me but I'll be back.
Im a lorry driver up here on delivery. Rang the Mandari . Warm friendly greeting. Was told that im outside their delivery area. But once realising im a driver they agreed to deliver to me. S60 postcode. Told order be around 45-60mins...pretty standard time. Turned up at 55mins. Food was very tasty, hot and a nice portion size. Many thanks Mandarin from a happy Truck driver (FLV)
Used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway but recently it has gone really down hill. Dont know if it new management or what but i started going other places for a chinese now. Hopefully theyll get back to how it was a few years ago because it was amazing. Wouldn't say its the worst in the area though
Duck dry barbecue spareribs cold and tasteless duck pancakes stuck and frozen together and chips like slugs and prawn crackers spot on hehe
Have been coming to this Chinese for over 3 years now and never had a bad experience. Always hot and delicious food with exceptional speed and service. Cannot fault and will be coming here for years to come.
Food is always delicious and ready exactly when they say it will be. Excellent friendly staff
